Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) might finally be on her way out of office, but in the meantime, she is still going absolutely berserk over President Donald J. Trump’s policies, such as his crackdown on illegal immigration, as was shown when she totally lost it during a Congressional hearing and started ranting and raving about the president’s moves to solve the illegal immigration issue.
As background, Rep. Crockett’s Congressional seat was done away with by redistricting in Texas, which was done to give Republicans more seats in the national legislature. Instead of trying to hold onto a seat in the House by running in a primary for what once was her district, Rep. Crockett tried running for the Texas US Senate seat that is up for re-election this cycle.
That went less than well for her, as she lost the race in utterly humiliating fashion, with her competitor beating her out so handily that the results were nearly immediately discernible. She initially cried foul, and then went on to support her primary challenger, who is a total radical on most issues.
In any case, she is still in Congress until the end of this term, and is using the time to lose her mind attacking President Trump. Such is what she did in Congress recently, ridiculously and bizarrely declaring that President Trump is pro-drug dealer and pro-drug trafficker. In reality, he is very anti-crime and has even deployed the National Guard to deal with the crime issue.
Kicking off her tiresome rant about the president and his policies, she initially claimed that Trump is pardoning “international drug traffickers,” saying, “International drug traffickers love Donald Trump because they know that even if they are arrested, it’s easy enough to get a pardon from him.”
Continuing, she pointed to phantom “data” that she claims proves her point, though she declined to explain what exactly it is that such data shows, or even what the data itself is. She said, “The data shows that Donald Trump is one of the most pro-drug trafficking presidents in modern-day history.”
Adding to that, she got to her real point, which is that she doesn’t like the crackdown on illegal immigration that we have seen under President Trump. She insisted, “Since he took office, prosecutions for drug trafficking have fallen to the lowest levels in decades because the agents tasked with going after drug cartels have either been fired or forced to start raiding your local Home Depot or illegally breaking into the homes of American citizens or monitoring community schools and churches so that the government can disappear entire families.”

Concluding her anti-Trump screed, the congresswoman then went on to insist that all that Trump has done, from the Venezuela operation to shutting down the border, has been “about corruption”. She insisted, “It was never about protecting Americans. It was never about bringing democracy to Venezuela. It was never about stopping illicit drugs from entering the country like everything else this administration does. It was about corruption.”
