In a hilarious moment, Fox News reporter Peter Doocy was attacked by a bird while on live television. Doocy was speaking to Fox and Friends when the furious bird disrupted the broadcast. When a clip of the incident went viral on social media, users reacted by laughing alongside Doocy, who many noticed maintained a professional air despite this disruption.
For context, Peter Doocy is famous for a series of interactions with the previous president, Joe Biden. As we reported, when Doocy asked the president about inflation, Biden snapped. The reporter asked, “Will you take questions on inflation then? Do you think inflation is a political liability ahead of the midterms?” With his mic still on, Biden said, “No, it’s a great asset. More inflation. What a stupid son of a b*tch.”
In any case, Doocy remained calm as the bird attacked his head. When a clip of the incident was posted to X on April 11, 2025, the caption said, ” Here it is! @pdoocy vs the bird. What a pro! (Peter not the bird).” In the comments under this post, users applauded his professionalism and ability to take a joke.
Agreeing with the caption, one commentator said, “Both Peter & his dad seem so good natured on TV. Nature or nurture or a little of both has @pdoocy handling that with style & a smile.

This is far from Doocy’s only viral moment; during the closing months of the Biden administration, he clashed with House Press Secretary Karine Jean Pierre (KJP) over the response to a hurricane that devastated parts of North Carolina in 2024. Starting off with a question, he said, “And on this issue of funding, the administration has money to send to Lebanon without Congress coming back, but Congress does have to come back to approve money to send to people in North Carolina. Do I have that right?”
Enraged by his simple question, KJP snapped back, “Here’s what I’m going to be very clear about: The president and the vice president has had a — a robust, whole-of-government response to this. Hundreds of millions of dollars — I said it at the top, more than $200 million — that we have directly put towards survivors here for the di- — for disaster help, and that’s because of this president’s commitment to make sure that we are there for communities that are impacted.”
Continuing her stumbling remarks, she said, “We’ve taken this very seriously — more than $200 million that we have provided to the impacted areas. And — but instead, people want to do disinformation, misinformation, which is dangerous — which is dangerous, because then it — what that — when — when folks on the ground hear that, they may not want to ask for the help that they need that is there for them — that is there for them.”

However, Peter Doocy wouldn’t stand for her nonsense and fired back. He said, “But President Biden is fond of saying, ‘Show me your budget, and I will tell you what you value. ‘If he has money for people in Lebanon right now, without Congress having to come back, what does it say about his values that there is not enough money right now for people?”
