In another epic appearance on Fox News Channel, Attorney General Pam Bondi explained that the Department of Justice has made multiple more arrests in connection with the storming of Cities Church in Minnesota, the same incident that led to the high-profile arrest of former CNN host John Lemon. Under the FACE Act, it is illegal to storm a church and harass churchgoers.
As background, in the original incident, which occurred on Sunday, January 18, a collection of leftist agitators, including fired former CNN hack Don Lemon, Cities Church to harass ICE and the pastor, who was falsely accused of working with ICE. What the mob did was a major felony, and now calls are growing for them to face the repercussions.
Apparently, Don Lemon, formerly employed at CNN and now an independent podcaster, was riled up alongside the other members of mob in the far-left city by claims from leftist sources online that the church’s pastor, David Easterwood, is the Field Office Director of ICE in the area. In response to those claims, Lemon and others stormed the church. Lemon was then arrested on Thursday, January 29.
In any case, Bondi began her appearance on FNC’s “Hannity” program by noting that Lemon’s claims to be immune from prosecution because he is a journalist are utterly absurd. “So, anyone with a camera then would be allowed, under his [Lemon’s] theory, to come in and attack a church like that and riot a church on a Sunday morning,” she said.
Continuing, the attorney general said that what he did was illegal, regardless of whether he was filming it and claiming to be a journalist, saying, “You can’t do that in this country. It’s illegal, we’re going to prosecute you, and you will be held accountable. Doesn’t matter if you’re a failed journalist with a camera in your hand. You can’t do it.”
Further, Bondi announced that numerous other church stormers have been arrested, including two whose arrests followed that of Don Lemon, saying, “These people committed a crime under the FACE Act, and they will be held accountable. Nine of them have been charged, and you will not do this in our country. We’re coming after you if you do.”
Then, noting the horrific nature of what the church stormers did during the terrible incident, AG Bondi explained, “There were children crying, there were parents blocked from getting upstairs to take their children out of Sunday school. A group of women ran out a side door. Multiple people fell on the ice. One woman severely damaged her arm, had to go to the hospital.” She added, “These parishioners thought they were gonna get shot.”

Yet further, Bondi explained how the incident was prepared, which adds to the claim that it was an illegal attack, saying, “They met in a parking lot about two miles away while people were filing into this church service. They were caravanning to this church to perform an attack-style infiltration of a church service on a Sunday morning.”
She then vowed, “We live in the United States of America, and you will have the right to worship safely and freely in a house of worship. Whether it’s a church, a synagogue, a temple, a mosque, any house of worship in this country, you will be safe.” Watch her here:
