A shocking video clip featuring a controversial Pakistani-born immigrant to the United States, Zul Mohamed, who ran for mayor of Carrollton, Texas, making extremely hateful comments about the U.S. military is going viral on social media platform X, perfectly showcasing why only natural-born citizens should be eligible to run for political office in the U.S.
In the video, Mohamed is confronted by a man who calls him out for hating American veterans, who have made sacrifices in order to preserve freedom and liberty that allows him to spew his anti-military views without being tossed in prison. “No one gave me freedom. My parents are the only people that made sacrifices,” Mohamed bellowed in the video.
“I want to make that clear,” the angry Muslim immigrant continued. “I do not support the U.S. military. No, I do not support the United States. I look down on both entities. I want to make that clear.” This is not Mohamed’s first brush with controversy. In 2020, Mohamed was busted for voter fraud while he was running for mayor.
According to a report from Yahoo News, Mohamed requested mail-in ballots for a number of city residents without their knowledge to a P.O. Box registered to a fake driver’s license and student ID. Since his activity was discovered, he’s pleaded guilty to a staggering 106 felony charges related to voter fraud. He was also convicted by a jury in Denton County and ultimately handed a prison sentence.
Mohamed started his four-year sentence in December 2024, however, just a month later, he was let out on bond to appeal his felony convictions. Having learned nothing from his previous experience, he decided to once again run for mayor. In fact, his name appeared on the ballot, which left Texas residents shocked, given that he is a convicted felon.
In the Lone Star State, those who are convicted felons are not legally allowed to run for office without first being officially pardoned. The secretary of state’s office clarified that those who are finally convicted of felonies are not allowed to run. However, those with felonies on appeal can run due to the conviction not being final, a loophole that Mohamed did not waste any time exploiting.
The comment section of the video clip on social media outlet X was disgusted by Mohamed’s comments about veterans. “All the White liberal useful idiots think electing the likes of Zul will mean they are empowered, when all he and others like him want is to enslave you and take what you have. The American left is the tribalist’s path to tyranny,” one user wrote.

“Yeah that’ll get him elected. Stupid mthrfr don’t realize why he’s allowed to speak his mind here…while he denigrates the military, that makes that possible. Try that in Pakistan! His parents may have made sacrifices, but they clearly couldn’t fix those s**t-for-brains of his,” another user stated. “The real problem is we have allowed individuals in our country who did not honor our constitution —nor believe in it. That’s what needs to be fixed,” someone else pointed out.
