WATCH: Outgoing RINO Senator Reveals Way He’ll Betray Trump and MAGA One More Time

Appearing on CNN and speaking with woke CNN host Kaitlin Collins, outgoing United States Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC), a notorious RINO if ever there was one who is known primarily for his hostility to President Trump and the MAGA movement despite nominally being a Republican, revealed that he intends to betray Trump yet again.

That comes in the context of President Trump needing to fill the Attorney General position now that Pam Bondi is on her way out, allegedly because she was caught leaking information about the FBI to Eric Swalwell, a friend of hers. Sen. Tillis let fly with an absurd list of conditions about what the president’s nominee must do to earn his respect and “yes” vote, the collective meaning of which is that he will only vote for a very moderate AG rather than the real, hard-nosed legal shark America needs.

That commentary was precipitated by Kaitlin Collins, who asked him if President Trump had made the correct decision in firing AG Pam Bondi and transferring her to some other role in the administration. She asked, “Do you think the president made the right decision to fire Pam Bondi today?”

The RINO senator fired back by noting, perhaps explaining why AG Bondi was so ineffective and had to be fired, that he was close with her and had a “good relationship” with her, saying, “I’m not really sure what the basis for it was will be saying, potentially another nominee come in before the Judiciary Committee. A little bit too early for me to understand the rationale behind it. I had a good relationship with General Bondi.”

Continuing, he noted that MAGA has been frustrated with Bondi’s performance, saying, “I hear some of the reports may be a frustration from the president on pursuing, certain cases. You know my position. I have a problem with some of the cases they have pursued, like what I think is the bogus case against Chair Powell.”

He then said that he disagrees with Trump on Bondi and the DOJ needing to do more to hold powerful wrongdoers accountable, saying, “So if it’s founded in that sort of frustration, I’d have to respectfully disagree with the president. If there are other facts related to other matters that I haven’t seen reported, I’ll reserve judgment.”

Still not done, he bizarrely set January 6 as the red line in the sand for what the new AG pick must agree was awful for him to vote yes on that nominee, saying, “For me, the threshold for somebody following Pam Bondi ends the moment I hear they said one thing that excused the events of January 6. I’ve been very clear on that. So I hope whoever they have in mind to follow General Bondi was very clear-eyed on my position on January 6.”

Adding to that, he voted to be intransigent on that issue, saying, “That’s why I didn’t support two other nominees who were coming through Judiciary Committee, and I won’t support any nominee who thought that any element of January 6 was excusable.” Watch him here:

Making fun of him in an entertaining post about the interview on X, Breitbart News said, “Thom Tillis says he’ll vote no on Trump’s next AG nominee if they don’t agree that January 6 was worse than Pearl Harbor, 9/11, and the Trail of Tears in every single facet.”
