In a confrontational interaction, a citizen journalist confronted presumed Democratic Mayor of New York Zohran Mamdani for supporting the closing of a Tesla Store in retaliation for the founder of the Company, Elon Musk’s, involvement in the Trump administration.
For context, the journalist pointed out the apparent hypocrisy of this move, and the Democrat, who self-describes as a socialist, failed to answer these legitimate questions. Mamdani has remained controversial for his far-left policies and connections to radical politics, which often lead to clashes with conservative politicians.
In any case, the contentious interaction began with the man yelling his annoyance at the mayoral candidate.”You’re running for mayor. Is this not First Amendment Activity, shutting down a business three weeks in a row. How many New York City businesses could tolerate to close their location three weeks in a row? This is an economic attack on Tesla. How can you sanction this? You will never be mayor. This is nothing which is the First Amendment… this is.”
Clearly taken aback by the force of his argument, Mamdani began to panic. He whined, “Step away from me. Don’t advance towards me like that… You just came up to me in a threatening manner, and you’re advancing towards me. Back up.”
When the clip was posted to social media, conservatives rallied behind the journalist. “Mamdani gets called out to his face for participating in shutting down a Tesla business in March in an economic assault. He defends the attack, calling it a First Amendment event. It’s not when it blocks people or becomes violent. Mamdani is a t*rrorist,” one user noted.
In any case, this is not the only interaction between Mandani and the team at Tesla. After he won the nomination from the Democratic Party, longtime swamp creature Bill Clinton congratulated him, prompting a response from Elon Musk.
Clinton took to social media to post, “Congratulations @ZohranKMamdani on your victory in yesterday’s primary election and a well-run campaign. I’m wishing you much success in November and beyond as you work to bring New Yorkers together to tackle the city’s challenges and shape a stronger, fairer future.” Reacting to this post, Elon Musk posted a thinking emoji, provoking widespread speculation.

This courageous journalist is far from the first to clash with Madani, and as we reported, Border Czar Tom Homan lambasted NYC mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani for fear-mongering and obstructing ICE, vowing to “flood the zone” with agents to enforce federal law despite sanctuary policies.
Firing back at the social Border Czar, Tom Homan issued a confident statement, “Mamdani needs to do his homework when it comes to ICE operations. He’s fear-mongering. The bottom line is, he says he wants to uphold city policy; how about upholding the law? The law says it’s a crime to enter this country illegally. It’s a violation of federal law,” he noted.

Building on this point, he explained, “It’s a crime to knowingly harbor an illegal alien. So we’re gonna enforce the law. He can stand by and watch, but he’s not going to stop us from doing our operations. ICE had already increased staff in New York City. We’re going to flood the zone in New York City. We’ve already sent many people there; we’re going to send many more people there.”
