Independent journalist and YouTuber Nick Shirley, the young man who exposed the massive amount of fraud involving fake daycare centers being run by members of the Somali community last December, is taking his troll game to the next level. In a video clip going viral on social media, Shirley dropped by Rep. Ilhan Omar’s office (D-MN) to gift her a t-shirt and an accounting book.
The hilarious video starts off with Shirley standing outside Omar’s office, holding up the t-shirt he plans to give her, which features the now-viral sign that was outside one of the centers where fraud was discovered. The t-shirt says, “Quality Learing Center” with a phone number underneath that says “1-800-FRAUD.”
“Today we are here in Washington D.C. Ilhan Omar’s net worth went from a miraculous six to $30 million to just now $95,000. So today we’re bringing her a gift. We have the Counting for Dummies book right here, and also it’s summertime. It’s getting hot outside. We’re bringing her a Learing Center T-shirt. Here we go. We’ve made it to Ilhan Omar’s office. Let’s see if she answers,” he says at the beginning of the clip.
Shirley then knocks on Omar’s door, which is promptly answered by one of her staffers. “Hello, is Ilhan here?” he asks the staffer. She replies, “She’s not.” The YouTube star didn’t miss a beat, saying, “She’s never here,” before going on to add, “Well, it’s summertime. I got her a new Learing Center hoodie or a T-shirt because it’s hot outside, and then I also brought her an accounting book because her net worth has had some weird fluctuations from $30 million now to $95,000.”
“So, if you could give these to her, I’d be greatly appreciative of that. And it is summertime, so she should be able to wear the new T-shirt,” Shirley told the staffer, handing her the gifts he brought her.” The staffer then thanks the independent journalist and shuts the door. Shirley turns to the camera and addresses the audience, saying, “Ilhan Omar officially has a quality Learing T-shirt, and she has an accounting book that she can then give to her accountant because certified Learing.”
He concludes the video by stating, “Those math numbers just don’t make any sense. And if you want to get yourself a quality learning center hoodie and support the work I’m doing, go to antifrogclub.com. Thank you very much.” The video has already garnered tens of thousands of views on various social media platforms, including Facebook.
The comment section was packed full of support for Shirley and the work he’s been doing to expose fraud across the country. “Absolutely hilarious. Nick, you are doing a great job,” one user on Facebook wrote. Someone else wrote, “Keep it up, Nick. You are crushing it out there.” Another said, “Well, the assistant was pretty nice while the door was open. I wonder how many seconds before the gifts hit the trash can?”

Another person said that Shirley should make a shirt for every member of Congress due to so many lawmakers thinking the rules don’t apply to them. “You need to share it with all Government Officials, they seem to think that rules, nor math never applies to them!!!” the individual commented. Someone else took a dig at Omar saying, “When is Omar ever in the office?”
