WATCH: New Ad Uses Kamala’s Own Words Against Her with Side by Side Videos of Her Making Opposing Points

Former President Donald Trump recently launched a scathing ad about Kamala Harris, pitting the vice president against her own words.  Playing off the anticipation to see Harris debate Trump, after she has almost entirely avoided the media since stepping up to lead the Democratic ticket amid President Biden’s withdrawal from the race.

The clever video showed “the debate we’ve all been waiting for:  Harris vs. Harris.”  The clip juxtaposed comments from Kamala regarding the state of the troubled economy and “Bidenomics” which has been touted by the Biden administration as a resounding success.  However, the vice president’s acknowledgment of rampant inflation compared to comments about the supposed benefits of the Biden-Harris economy is contradictory.

In one clip Harris said, “Everyday prices are too high, food, rent, gas, back to school, clothes.” The ad then played a clip of Kamala stating, “That is called Bidenomics.” She continued in another clip, “A loaf bread cost 50% more today. Ground beef is up almost 50%. There’s not much left at the end of the month.” It then rolled a video of Harris claiming, “Bidenomics is working.” Kamala continued in another statement, “The price of housing has gone up. It feels so hard to just be able to get ahead,” comparing it to another comment where she claimed, “and we are very proud of Bidenomics.”

Many Americans are disgruntled with the leadership from the Biden-Harris administration which has led to challenging circumstances throughout the nation.  The American Tribune recently reported on comments from Trump’s running mate, JD Vance, who slammed Vice President Harris for offering “nothing but broken leadership.”

The Ohio Senator said, “We need a president for the people, and that’s why we’re going to send Donald J. Trump back to the White House.” He continued, slamming Kamala Harris for her “broken leadership,” stating, “Think of everything that this country has endured over the last four years of Kamala Harris’s broken leadership.”

The vice presidential candidate continued, “Prices are up and wages down. Our borders are wide open, but we’ve had a lot of factories closing down. Fentanyl is available on every street corner from North Carolina to Wisconsin, but it is impossible for young Americans to find an affordable home to raise their families in now.”

Trump has also blasted Harris’ “communist” economic agenda, claiming, “Kamala went full-communist. She went full-communist,” Trump said at the rally. “She wants to destroy our country. After causing catastrophic inflation, comrade Kamala announced that she wants to institute socialist price controls. You saw that, never worked before. Never ever worked. This is the Maduro plan, Venezuela, Maduro plan of the old Soviet Union. They tried it. How did the Soviet Union work out? It became Russia.”

He added, “It will cause rationing, hunger, and skyrocketing prices, just like their Inflation Reduction Act caused one of the great scams of all time,” he explained. “They got it approved with a beautiful name, Inflation Reduction, because inflation under their system has been so bad, it’s gone up much more than 50%, you know they say 30%, 40%, 50% … people are being devastated. They’re being devastated, but it’s gone way up, way up.”
