WATCH: Nancy Pelosi Has Total Public Meltdown, Snaps Like a Lunatic after Getting Called Out by a Reporter

In a deeply embarrassing moment for the controversial Democrat, Nancy Pelosi shouted at a reporter, pointing in her face and snapping insults, much to the anger of online conservatives who pointed out her hypocrisy.

For context, Pelosi has long been a symbol of everything wrong with Washington politics, and critics have pointed to her declining mental state and massive stock market earnings to cast doubt about her career and intentions in power.

In any case, the incident was announced in a post to social media, which read, “BREAKING: Nancy Pelosi SNAPS at OUR Reporter – Points in Her Face and Hurls Insults. When our reporter pressed @SpeakerPelosi on why she refused National Guard support on January 6th, she lost it – pointing in her face, yelling “Shut up,” and accusing her of pushing “Republican talking points.'”

Building on that point, the conservative outlet added, “No answer. Just insults. This is how the democratic so-called Speaker of ‘the people’ treats the press when they don’t fall in line. @SpeakerPelosi’s meltdown says everything. What is she trying to hide?”

Starting off the controversial clip, the courageous reporter asked, “Congresswoman Pelosi, are you at all concerned that the new January 6 committee will find you liable for that day? Are you at all concerned about the new January 6 committee finding you liable for that day? Why did you refuse the National Guard on January 6?”

Losing her mind, Peolos snapped back with evident vitriol. “Shut up. I did not refuse the National Guard. The President didn’t send it. Why are you coming here with Republican talking points, as if you’re a serious journalist? ” Pelso snarled.

However, her claims contradict the testimony from Former Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund, who declared, “Ma’am, it is long past time to be honest with the American people.” He continued, “On January 3, I requested National Guard assistance, but your Sergeant at Arms denied it. Under federal law (2 U.S.C. §1970), I was prohibited from calling them in without specific approval.”

Building on this point, he wrote, “That same day, Carol Corbin at the Pentagon offered National Guard support, but I was forced to decline because I lacked the legal authority.” Going on to expose Pelosi further, Sund wrote, On January 6, while the Capitol was under attack and despite my repeated calls, your Sergeant at Arms again denied my urgent requests for over 70 agonizing minutes, ‘running it up the chain’ for your approval.”

Lying out the hypocrisy, he noted, “When I needed assistance, it was denied.” In contrast, he said, “Yet when it suited you, you ordered fencing topped with concertina wire and surrounded the Capitol with thousands of armed National Guard troops.”

In any case, when the initial clip was posted to social media, conservatives were outraged. “Mad respect for that reporter because Pelosi was already halfway in the tank and a little touchy touchy lol,” one comment noted. Agreeing, another noted, “We ALL saw it. Both Pelosi and Bowser declined multiple offers for the National Guard. Liars typically lash out when confronted.”
