Former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen recently bemoaned President-Elect Donald Trump’s decisive victory over Vice President Kamala Harris in the presidential election. However, her maintained that he would not flee the country as many woke celebrities have suggested they will do under the incoming leadership of the Trump-Vance administration.
The 58-year-old former lawyer hosted a livestream after claiming the controversy between him and Trump ruined his prospects at employment. During his stream, Cohen said, “Can we stop with that?” as members of his virtual audience paid to place a turkey around his head. “I appreciate that. I don’t like the stupid turkeys. Alright? Let’s just knock that stupid s*** off please.”
Attempting to move the livestream forward, Cohen continued, backpedaling from a prior stance that he would flee the country. “I said I was leaving, and then the following day — get that through your dumb heads! — the following day, I turned around and I said there’s no chance in the world that I’m leaving my country, thank you very much, alright? I’m not leaving anywhere. You leave! It’s my country,” he said.
However, viewers would not refrain from placing the virtual turkeys around his head. “I have every single right within which to turn around — would you stop so we can… in two seconds I’m going to end up blocking this idiot,” he lamented.
The American Tribune reported on the reaction of other liberal celebrities who lashed out at Trump’s victory. “This is why some of y’all states be getting hurricanes,” she said. “I hate y’all bad,” the rapper continued, reacting to the election. Cardi B also responded to someone asking if she’d appear at Trump’s inauguration, stating, “I’m sick of you! Burn your f***ing hats, motherf***er. I’m really sad. I swear to God I’m really sad.”
Moreover, actress Jamie Lee Curtis posted her reaction to the election on social media, suggesting that the country could return to “a more restrictive, some fear draconian time” that is threatening to minority groups. “Gay and trans people will be more afraid,” she added. “We know that many women will now find it difficult to get the reproductive healthcare that they need and deserve. For all those people there will be those who will help you. Me included,” Curtis said.
“But what it really means is that we wake up and fight,” Curtis emphasized. “Fight for women and our children and their futures and fight against tyranny, one day at a time. One fight at a time. One protest at a time. That’s what it means to be an American.”

Actor John Cusack also said, “The fact that the country would choose to destroy itself by voting in a convicted felon rapist and Nazi is a sign of deep nihilism. To put it mildly.” Actress Christina Applegate said that her daughter was “sobbing” over the supposed possibility of losing “rights” under Trump. “My child is sobbing because her rights as a woman may be taken away,” she wrote. “Why? And if you disagree, please unfollow me,” she said.
