Footage from earlier this year shows former First Lady Melania Trump making a stunning appearance at an event hosted at former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.  During the event, Trump hosted Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban for dinner.

The popular conservative X account, “Suburban Black Man,” shared the footage, writing, “President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump host Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban for a nice dinner at Mar-a-Lago, which resembles a gorgeous palace worth exponentially more than “$18M.””

At another point during the evening, Orban presented Melania with a beautiful bouquet of flowers after greeting her and former president Trump.  After receiving the gift from the Hungarian prime minister, Melania appeared to be elated to have received the elegant arrangement from the foreign leader she and Trump were hosting.

Trump had previously made comments earlier this year indicating that his wife would play a more active role in supporting his campaign, where Melania would make an increasing number of public appearances.  However, Trump acknowledged that Melania tends to prefer privacy over the intense public attention that comes with being married to him.

Trump explained, “It’s funny, she was a very successful model, very, very successful, and yet she was a private person. She’s going to be out a lot. Not because she likes doing it, but she likes the results.” He said, “She wants to see this country really succeed. She loves the country.” He also added, “Melania is a brilliant person. Her life revolves around Barron and the success of our country.”

The Tribune also reported on Trump recalling how Melania reacted to the assassination attempt against him last month during a recent interview.  The former president stated, “And she was watching. I asked her that. I mean, I wasn’t there, I was on the ground, and when the world started to like. .. you could talk to people, I said, ‘so what was your feeling?’ And, she can’t really even talk about it, which is okay, because that means she likes me or she loves me.”

He continued, “I mean, let’s say she could talk about it freely…that wouldn’t be … I’m not so sure which is better, but she the likes or loves me, and that’s nice,” Trump said.  “But I will say this look. When I went down, she thought the worst had happened, because I went down and grabbed my and I saw it was my hand was loaded up with blood. You see it in slow motion, instant replay.

Furthermore, additional reports suggest that Melania was deeply “traumatized” by the assassination attempt.  “Melania Trump’s statement was the epitome of graciousness and a beautiful, heartfelt message of vulnerability and transparency, She loves and supports her husband and has surely been traumatized by this heinous attempt to assassinate him,” on source said.  “As much as Donald Trump himself will continue on, as will she, the events of Saturday changed her, and her family – and all of us.  It can’t help but make her see every day and every decision differently.”
