Things got somewhat entertaining in the White House when CNN’s Betsy Klein tried attacking First Lady Melania Trump over the release and success of her documentary, “Melania”, which tells the story of what it’s like to unexpectedly become the First Lady and enter public life, with Klein accusing the first lady of inappropriate “promotion”.
For reference, the media has repeatedly done its best to attack Melania’s documentary, which has been attacked by the reviewers but has received a fabulous audience reception, and has humiliated Hollywood and other presidential documentary makers, like the Obamas.
In any case, Klein provoked the rebuttal when she snapped at Melania and asked whether it was “appropriate to use an official White House event to promote your documentary.” That was a reference to when Melania appeared with two Israeli-American hostages the Trump Administration helped get freed, Keith and Aviva Siegel, at the White House, a moment that was included in her documentary.
Klein was insisting that Melania had inappropriately brought up and promoted her documentary in the context that event, something Melania denied. In fact, the First Lady began her rebuttal of the “promotion” claim by telling the rude and woke CNN journalist, “This is not promotion.”
Continuing, Melania noted that she had been called by the hostages, who wanted to thank her for helping bring hostages home, saying, “We are here celebrating the release of the hostages, of Aviva and Keith. They were in Washington, D.C., and they called me and they said they would like to come over to thank me and to give hugs. That’s why we are here. There’s nothing to do with promotion.”
What had really happened is that Melania, minutes before Klein’s rude, accusatory question, had noted that the emotional meeting could be seen in the documentary, noting, “It was emotional meeting, and it is captured on camera and available to see in my new film, Melania. It was very emotional.”

MAGA influencer Gunther Eagleman, commenting on what had happened during the incident, hammered Klein and praised Melania, saying, “A fake news reporter just accused Melania of using the White House for a ‘promotion’ as she met with hostages that Trump freed. How disingenuous and rude. However, she replied gracefully and with class”.
Then, after noting what Melania had said in her good response to the rude question, Eagleman noted that the fake news media is characterized by this bad behavior, saying, “I wouldn’t have been this gracious, and I don’t imagine Trump being too happy about this blatant disrespect. This is why the American people HATE the fake news.”
Eagleman has also been involved in calling out the media’s other lies about the documentary, such as the attempt to frame it as being dismally reviewed. For example, in one post, he noted, “’MELANIA’ is CRUSHING it: 99% audience LOVE, but woke ‘experts’ trash it at 11%. Flip side: Fauci flick gets 86% from critics, but real Americans give it a pathetic 2% The disconnect is insane. The people adore our classy, unstoppable First Lady!”
