WATCH: Melania Reveals Woke University Refused to Accept Her Donation to Help Foster Children

In a shocking appearance on Fox News, Melania Trump, the First Lady, recounted how a woke university refused her donation to foster children because of her husband’s politics. When the clip of her interview with FNC’s Maria Baritomo was posted to social media, users were enraged by the incident, saying, “The foster kids were punished because the intolerant left’s hatred of the Trump family.”

For context, although Melaina has chosen to limit her public exposure, she has been passionately outspoken onbwhalf of various charities, particularly focusing on children’s welfare. During her husband’s first term, she founded the “Be Best” campaign, which targeted issues like online bullying, mental health, and the opioid crisis affecting children.

In any case, during her October 6, 2024, interview with FNC, she described how poorly she was treated by woke ideologies. She said, “It happened already in the White House, and soon he announced for politics, but later on, when we left the White House, when I established my own business, as you said, the bank suddenly informed me they would not be able to do business with me anymore.”

Building on that point, Melania explained how she was discriminated against while trying to help foster children. She stated, “Also, I had a very prominent email distribution service provider just rapidly terminated my agreement. So suddenly, as well as the university, I was all agreed that they would accept my donations for the foster students. And because of the board directors, they called back, and they found out that it was me.”

Concluding her remarks, Melania Trump recounted, “They said, We cannot go on. And it’s very, very sad because who suffered? They were children from a foster community. They didn’t have a scholarship that somebody would provide for them. They didn’t want to do business with me because of political affiliation, my political beliefs, and you know that that was one of them, one of the canceling projects they had.”

In the comments under a clip of this interview posted to X, conservatives were incensed by the blatant anti-Trump bias. One of the comments read, “The left is not about doing good, it’s about virtue signaling, making it look like you’re doing good (only to siphon off the money and resources the moment they’re no longer in the spotlight). This is why after 16 years of democrat rule, America is a shell of what it once was.”

Blasting these companies for putting politics ahead of needy children, one woman said, “The foster kids were punished because the intolerant left’s hatred of the Trump family. Absolutely despicable! I never want to hear from democrats again on preaching tolerance. Vile.” Another user added, “It’s unfortunate that political beliefs can influence decisions that impact children in need. Supporting foster children’s education should be a priority, regardless of personal views.”

Rounding out the comments, some conservatives called for harsh punishments. One such comment said, “That entire board needs removed…they ARE NOT working in the best interest of the children and apparently are quite willing to intentionally inflict harm to them because of THEIR “POLITICAL BELIEFS.'” Another asked, “How far is the left willing to go? This organization refused dollars that would help foster children! How is this good? How many children could not be helped? This must stop.”
