A short clip from Fox News, posted to Facebook around New Year’s 2026, garnered over 6.4 million views and captured a brief exchange in which a reporter asked President Trump about his New Year’s resolution, as he entered Mar-a-Lago.
With his beautiful wife by his side, the President answered with his typical good humor. Trump responded succinctly with a wish for global peace. The clip shows off a positive, confident, and hopeful message from the President.
In any case, the short video featured Melania and the president, each dressed to the nines. She was wearing a stunning silver dress. Beside her, President Trump was wearing a typically immaculate tuxedo. Taken together, the Trumps radiated elegance and class.
“Mr. President, do you have a New Year’s resolution?” a reporter asked to start off the clip. Responding with a hilarious joke, President Donald Trump answered, “Peace. Peace on Earth.” However, later in the evening, Trump gave more extended remarks.
Continuing his comments, the president blasted the shocking Somali fraud ring recently uncovered in Minnesota. “Can you imagine, they stole $18 billion,” Trump asked, “That’s just what we’re learning about.” Pointing to other blue states, the president continued.
“California’s worse. Illinois is worse, and sadly, New York is worse. A lot of other places. So we’re going to get to the bottom of all of it,” Trump quipped, “Other than that, we’re going to have a great new year. Actually, I view that as a reason for a good new year because we’re going to get to the bottom of [it], we’re going to get that money back. It’s all coming back.”

Additionally, in a Truth Social post from the same day, the president clashed with biased deepstate pollsters. “The polls are rigged even more than the writers. The real number is 64%, and why not, our Country is ‘hotter’ than ever before. Isn’t it nice to have a STRONG BORDER, No Inflation, a powerful Military, and great Economy??? Happy New Year!” the president posted.
As we reported at the American Tribune, this is far from the first time Trump has criticized biased polls. “Let’s do a poll, because you know, these polls just charge you a million dollars to ask a question, then they don’t even, they just write down an answer. They don’t do polls. It’s a total con-job, some of these polls,” he said.
Adding to this point, the President declared, “One thing I don’t like about Fox is their pollster. Total fake. Their pollsters are the worst. They’ve been saying they’re gonna get rid of them for 10 years. The fake pollster. Then you have the election, you win by numbers that are like through the roof.”
Softening his remarks about the supposedly conservative cable network, the president concluded, “But the Fox, but Fox has been treating me good. They have great people there. Sean Hannity is great. Jesse is great. Laura is great. Greg is great. They’re all great. We have great people.
