WATCH: Media Gets Caught Fabricating Story Meant to Make JD Vance Look Bad

In yet another incident of abhorrent media behavior related to its Trump Derangement Syndrome and overwhelmingly hostile attitude toward the MAGA movement, the mainstream media apparatus was caught, via videos that soon emerged and revealed what had really happened, lying about what happened when Vice President JD Vance and Second Lady Usha Vance arrived for the Olympics in Milan.

Specifically, the establishment media apparatus had gleefully reported that when the Vice President and his wife appeared for the Winter Olympic opening ceremonies in Milan on Thursday, February 5, they had been louldy and generally booed by the crowd there for the games, a claim that videos of the incident showed to be near-entirely false.

One of the media hacks leading the charge in claiming Vance had been booed was Christine Brennan, who said, in a post on X, “It’s very rare to hear boos at an Olympic opening ceremony. In my 22 Olympics it probably has happened but I sure don’t remember it. Vice President JD Vance just got booed when he appeared on the big screen. The US athletes, on the other hand, received loud cheers.”

TIME reported the same thing, claiming, in a report and analysis of the incident, “But when Vice President J.D. Vance appeared on the stadium’s big screen during the kickoff of the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Games on Friday, the unmistakable sound of boos and jeers broke out among the crowd of 65,000 people.”

Also chiming in was The Guardian, which claimed that the American Olympics teem was cheered loudly and enthusiastically by the crowd, but, “when cameras cut to US vice-president JD Vance and second lady Usha Vance, large sections of the crowd responded with boo”.

However, as commenters pointed out on X as soon as video of the incident emerged, the audience actually was generally cheering Vance and Usha. Though a few very scattered groans and jeers could be heard, no real booing was audible, and the response was generally positive. One commenter roasted Brennan’s post, for example, saying, “Haha! Whatever. I listened to the video. I can’t hear boos. But you do you, loser.”

Similarly, the “Media Lies” X account posted a clip of the incident and captioned it by noting that the media had just lied about what happened, saying, “Mainstream media claims the crowd at the Olympics unleashed “massive boos” for VP JD Vance at the Milan Winter Olympics opening. They claimed the crowd rejected him amid anti-ICE hysteria, but another angle proves the crowd was cheering, not jeering for Team USA and VP Vance. This is another case where the left invents backlash to smear the admin. Don’t buy the salacious propaganda. Watch for yourself and see the truth.”

On much the same note, Breitbart’s Matthew Boyle posted the clip and said, “EXCLUSIVE— here is video of @JDVance @VP getting introduced at the Olympics and I’m not hearing any boos in this at all. Seems like establishment media might be concocting another fake news narrative here. Watch for yourself and decide for yourself.”
