WATCH: MAGA Rep Sounds Off on Leftist Lies about Elon Musk, Exposes “Real Corruption” Democrats are Behind

A video clip of conservative firebrand Rep. Brandon Gill (R-TX) torching hypocritical Democrats over claims that former Department of Government Efficiency head and the world’s first trillionaire, Elon Musk, is corrupt, is going viral on social media for a second time. The clip was taken from remarks Gill delivered in February 2025.

Gill started off by hammering radical leftist legislators for benefiting from cash being tossed into what he referred to as a “slush fund” that had very little oversight concerning where the money ultimately ended up. “If you want to know where the real corruption is, let’s look at which side of the aisle has been benefiting from this slush fund that we’ve been giving out with very little accountability,” Gill said.

The Texas Republican then called out the various “pet projects” the fund was used for, which was a lengthy list with more than a few absurd causes that taxpayer money was paying for, leading many to believe that the projects were merely cover for lining politicians’ pockets. “It tends to be left-wing pet projects, left wing media like NPR and PBS, who always routinely run cover for Democrats while attacking Republicans,” Gill stated.

Gill then brought up how the fund tossed a lot of tax dollars toward left-wing advocacy groups and NGOs. “It’s left-wing advocacy groups and NGOs that are taking our tax dollars and promoting DEI programs and transgender surgeries and girl-powered climate action, whatever that means,” Gill went on to say during his time speaking in the House.

“These are all left-wing movements that are being funded by our tax dollars, and it raises the question of how successful would the leftist political movement be in America if it weren’t for the fact that their whole movement is subsidized by taxpayers. That is what corruption is,” Gill concluded, bringing his torching of the Democratic Party to a close.

According to an article shared by Congress, Musk did an interview with TIME where he referred to DOGE as a “very big success.” He went on to say, “We found hundreds of billions of dollars of waste, fraud, and abuse. Itʼs a scam. Itʼs illegal, in my opinion, so much of the stuff that we found, but I think DOGE has been a big success from that standpoint.”

One of the ways Musk’s DOGE saved taxpayers money was by locating and eliminating grants and contracts such as one attached to a Department of Agriculture program to educate queer, trans, and BIPOC urban farmers and consumers on the topic of “food justice” and “values-aligned markets.” Musk’s DOGE also uncovered an insane amount of waste spending within the U.S. Agency for International Development.

“From funneling tax dollars to risky research in Wuhan to sending Ukrainians to Paris Fashion Week, USAID is one of the worst offenders of waste in Washington… all around the world,” Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) went on to write in a post on X. Ernst announced she would be retiring at the end of her current term. One of the examples Ernst provided of waste was the authorization of $20 million to be spent on creating a Sesame Street in Iraq television program.
