WATCH: Liberal Host Explodes Over Kamala’s Refusal to Just Go Away

In a very unintentionally funny video posted online, Ana Kasparian, a longtime co-host of the hyper-progressive web show “The Young Turks,” sounded off on the idea that Vice President and failed 2024 Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris could run for governor in California. Kasparian said she would leave the state if Kamala does so.

As background, Harris lost the election handily, losing not just the majority of swing states but all of them, but still reportedly thinks she has a political future. Particularly, recent reports have revealed that the former United States Senator from California is considering running for the governorship of California.

Kasparian’s comments on the matter when her co-host, Cenk Uygur, said that he thinks Kamala would be able to win the California election handily. Pontificating, Uygur opined, “I think Kamala Harris would probably win in a cakewalk for governor.” Replying with fury and trashing the idea, Kasparian immediately shouted, “No!”

Continuing, she obliterated Uygur’s seeming agreement with the idea that Kamala should run in the Golden State’s gubernatorial election and would easily win, saying, “What are you doing? What are you doing? No, I’m telling you the reality, whether you like it or not… Democratic voters in California love to obey.”

She then said that she would rather quit her job at the Young Turks podcast and just leave the state entirely than have to deal with first living in a state in which Kamala could be governor, and then have to live there if Kamala did win the election. She said, “I’m gonna move, Cenk! I’m gonna quit my job. I’m gonna quit my job, and I’m gonna move.”

Responding to her freak out, Uygur said that he doesn’t support the idea, but he does think Californians would go for it. He said, “I’m not saying I’m in favor of it. I’m telling you what’s, like, if they, the Democratic Party, said, ‘We anoint Kamala Harris,’ a giant percentage of Democrats in California would go, ‘Yes! We obey. We will take the loyalty oath. It doesn’t matter how bad she is.” Watch them here:

Kasparian isn’t the only one to lose it over the idea that Kamala could run in the California gubernatorial election. Also doing so was Democratic National Committee fundraiser Lindy Li, who sounded off and said, “This is not what America wants. November 5th was a decisive defeat for the Democratic Party. She lost every single swing state. It wasn’t a squeaker like it was in 2016. This was a resounding defeat.”

Li added that it is delusional for Kamala to think she could win, saying, “Right now, Kamala Harris is indulging in delusions of running for governor of California, possibly in 2026 or even president again in 2028. America has said, ‘We don’t want to be coconut-pilled. We do not want Kamala Harris. We don’t want failed border policies.”

In that same series of remarks, Li said the Democrats need to get back to common sense policies, saying, “I’m probably going to get canceled again for what I am about to say — men are men and women are women, and it’s an issue when men are trouncing women in women’s sports. This should not be a controversial take. This is common sense.”
