WATCH: Leftist Mob Storms Senate Building, Wreaks Havoc While Trying to Pressure Legislators

In an infuriating incident that occurred in late November of 2024, a large group of pro-Palestinian protesters took over the inside of the Hart Senate Office Building as part of a demonstration against the United States shipping weapons to Israel to aid in its war effort against radical Islamic terrorist group Hamas in the Gaza region.

Footage was captured of the demonstrators shoving through Capitol Police to gain entrance to the lobby of the building where they began chanting “Free Palestine” and other slogans like “No more money for Israel’s crimes.” Many of those involved in the protest were seen sporting red t-shirts that said, “STOP ARMING ISRAEL.” Local law enforcement ended up arresting 44 protesters inside the building for illegal protesting.

The public information officer at the time went on to reveal that two of the protesters received additional charges of assaulting a police officer, however, he did not provide details about the nature of the alleged assaults. Senators were scheduled to vote later in the week on a piece of legislation that would block a previously approved $20 billion weapons deal with Israel.

According to WORLD, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) is the one who introduced the bill to block the deal. Protesters were spotted on multiple floors of the building. Some of those involved in the incident were seen throwing sticky notes with the same slogan on their t-shirts from balconies down into the atrium. A few even hung banners that featured phrases like “time to act” and “fund Life, not genocide.”

Some conservatives noted the irony of a group of liberal protesters hanging banners discussing the funding of life while the vast majority are like pro-abortion, pointing out inconsistencies in their beliefs. Three protesters, according to Fox News, were seen leaving an elevator with police escorts, hands zip tied behind their backs. They continued to chant as they were taken into custody.

The war in the Gaza region was started by Hamas when fighters belonging to the group invaded Israel on October 7, 2023, an event that resulted in the deaths of 1,200 people, the majority of them civilians. Terrorists also kidnapped a total of 250 individuals during the incident.

At the time of the protests in November 2024, the Biden administration spent months trying to come to a cease-fire agreement between Israel and Hamas, but ultimately failed. President Donald Trump, however, managed to secure a deal that brought the violence to an end in October 2025.

The breeding ground for the pro-Palestinian movement was college campuses, as, according to WORLD, 2,500 students were arrested or detained at a slew of events held on university grounds across the country. Many set up tents on school grounds and barricaded themselves inside buildings.

Some displayed their anger at the U.S. providing aid to Israel by burning American flags while others chanted slogans associated with radical terrorist groups. Most of these demonstrations were planned by Students for Justice in Palestine, which boasts 200 chapters on campuses located throughout the nation. The group itself describes itself as an independent, grassroots organization with the mission of mobilizing students to push for the liberation of Palestine.
