WATCH: Katie Hobbs Gets Brutally Booed at Arizona Golf Tournament

Things didn’t go well for Arizona Governor Katie Hobb when she made an appearance at Arizona’s famous Waste Management Open. Making appearance in Scottsdale, AZ for the famously rowdy tournament, she was met with a very unwelcoming reception from the crowd.

In fact, as Governor Hobbs walked out onto the course to make her presence known and try to build some rapport with the crowd, she was instead booed by many of those in attendance.  The incident was caught on video and posted at the bottom of the article for anyone who wants to see Katie Hobbs get booed on video!

The likely reason that Hobbs was booed is that many Republicans do not view Hobbs as having been legitimately elected because of election-day irregularities in Arizona, particularly in Maricopa County. A court recently struck down Kari Lake’s second challenge to Katie Hobbs’ victory, ruling the following, as reported on The Hill:

“Lake’s arguments highlight Election Day difficulties, but her request for relief fails because the evidence presented to the superior court ultimately supports the court’s conclusion that voters were able to cast their ballots, that votes were counted correctly, and that no other basis justifies setting aside the election results.”

The Hill, adding more details on Lake’s claims and what the court found, further reported that the court said, “Lake’s cybersecurity expert confirmed that any misconfigured ballots (or ballots that on-site tabulators could not read for other reasons) could be submitted physically through secure ‘Door 3,’ duplicated onto a readable ballot by a bipartisan board at Maricopa County’s central tabulation facility, and ultimately counted.”

AZ Free News also published a political news article about Katie Hobbs being booed at the golf outing and offered some other insights. Their report suggests it could be bipartisan dissatisfaction stemming from Hobbs’ first day in office. This political drama could have contributed to the booing, but it’s typically unclear why some people boo – other than they simply don’t like or approve of the person.

In December of 2023, Hobbs turned on Biden and announced that she was mobilizing the state National Guard and sending it to the border to deal with the out of control situation before it’s too late, particularly at the state’s overwhelmed border crossing. She blamed Biden for not providing these state with necessary help.

She said, “Yet again, the federal government is refusing to do its job to secure our border and keep our communities safe. With this Executive Order, I am taking action where the federal government won’t. But we can’t stand alone, Arizona needs resources and manpower to reopen the Lukeville crossing, manage the flow of migrants, and maintain a secure, orderly and humane border. Despite continued requests for assistance, the Biden administration has refused to deliver desperately needed resources to Arizona’s border.”
