Vigorously debunking ridiculously misleading media claims, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt demolished a report from the Atlantic, bringing detailed facts to dismantle the woke outlet’s claims individually. The publication asserted the Trump administration mistakenly deported a Maryland father with protected legal status; in her response, she tactically dismantled the left-wing narrative by providing facts on the true nature of the individual in question.
As background, Leavitt methodically dissected the allegations from The Atlantic’s deceptive hit piece during a White House press briefing on April 1. The liberal article claimed a man named Abrego Garcia, who they described as a simple father, was unjustly deported due to an administrative error, inevitably causing a fuss of liberal tears.
The press got a taste of Leavitt’s strong rebuttal skills while clarifying the administration’s position with facts, brilliantly debunking The Atlantic. She started her press release by saying, “First of all, the error that you are referring to was a clerical error. It was not an administrative error. The administration maintains the position that this individual, who was deported to El Salvador and will not be returning to our country, was a member of the brutal and vicious MS-13 gang.”
Building on that, Leavitt immediately clarified the true nature of Abrego Garcia, directly countering the sympathetic portrayal from the media while casting a grim spotlight on the madman’s actual criminal activities. She added, “Fact number two: we also have credible intelligence proving that this individual was involved in human trafficking.”
Propelling the details higher, Leavitt continued to address the facts behind Abrego Garcia’s deportation. She said, “Fact number three: this individual was a member, actually a leader, of the brutal MS-13 gang, which this President has designated as a Foreign Terrorist Organization. Such designation legally allows greater authority to remove dangerous foreign nationals who pose a significant security risk.”
Driving her argument home, Leavitt asserted strongly the role the Trump administration plays in removing dangerous members from American communities. She said, “Fact number four is that foreign terrorists do not have legal protections in the United States of America anymore, and it is within the president’s executive authority and power to deport these heinous individuals from American communities.”
Leavitt emphasized that President Trump’s stance against criminals is a longstanding campaign promise. She said, “It is a promise he campaigned on. It is a promise he is keeping, and every single person in this room should be grateful for that, especially considering that MS-13 is very prevalent and prominent here in the District of Columbia, in Maryland, and in Virginia. The President, the Attorney General, everyone who has been involved in these operations is focused on eradicating these criminals and terrorists from our communities.” Watch Leavitt’s powerful statement here:
