Vice President Kamala Harris had an embarrassing start to the March Madness basketball season. Not only did her alma mater, Howard University, get brutally beaten in a blowout game against Kansas, but the crowd was not excited to see her and booed her in an incident that must have been painfully humiliating for her.
Watch the incident here, paying close attention to her hilarious facial expressions as she hears the booing:

The Daily Mail, reporting on the hilarious incident, noted that Kamala had to watch her team get humiliated by Kansas before she was humiliated by the crowd. In its words:
US Vice President Kamala Harris was booed on the third day of the NCAA’s March Madness tournament in Des Moines, Iowa, as she watched her alma mater, Howard University, fall to college basketball powerhouse Kansas.
Having graduated from the historically black college and university (HBCU) with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and economics in 1986, Harris showed up in a suite at the Wells Fargo Arena on Thursday to see her Bisons get blown out by the Jayhawks, 68-96, along with her husband and second gentleman, Doug Emhoff.
The Daily Mail went on to note that the booing probably occurred not because Howard, a historically black university, has turned on the Democrats, but rather because most of the game’s attendees were from either Iowa or Kansas, both of which are states that went for Trump. In its words:
More than half of Iowa’s inhabitants (53.1 percent) voted for Donald Trump in the 2020 Presidential election, compared to 44.9 percent of votes for Joe Biden.
Fans hailing from Kansas, another Republican state, may have also been behind the chorus of boos. Although Trump won the state with 56.18 percent of votes in 2020, Biden’s 41.53 percent vote share represented the highest for a Democrat presidential nominee since 2008 – among Biden’s best statewide increases of the election.
What might have been worse for the Howard University men’s basketball team was losing was that they were forced to sit through a typically cringeworthy and vapid speech from the Vice President. She said:
βYou played hard. You played to the very last second. You made all us Bisons proud. You are smart. You are disciplined. You put everything you had into the game. You guys did not stop, and that is so inspiring. So you keep playing with chin up and shoulders back because you showed the world who Bison are.β
βSo I know you may not be feeling great right now, OK, but know who you are. You are excellence. You are hard work. You are powerful, and you are winners.β
And while many on Twitter laughed at the video of Cackling Kamala getting humiliated, they were also furious that she has time to go watch a basketball game but hasn’t yet found time as the Biden Administration’s Border chief to visit the border and look into the horrid plague of drugs and crime flowing across the southern border under her watch.
