WATCH: JD Vance Exposes How Mass Migration is Destroying the American Dream

Speaking during a Cabinet meeting on Tuesday, December 2, the same one in which Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins discussed how nearly a million fraudsters are being removed from SNAP, Vice President JD Vance sounded off on mass migration, characterizing it as a blight that is destroying America.

For reference, with his polling numbers falling precipitously, particularly amongst younger Americans who see his tolerance of H-1B visas and like programs as a major threat to their own futures and financial security, President Trump has taken to focusing much more heavily on domestic matters popular with his base, namely immigration enforcement.

It was with such dynamics in the background that VP JD Vance, one of the best-liked members of the administration amongst the base, chimed in to sound off on the mass migration and expose how letting in millions upon millions of foreigners has harmed the American people in a massive, severe way.

Doing so, the vice president began by arguing that the administration’s sweeping set of efforts, some of which have been effective and popular and others of which have been otherwise, are meant to try and help Americans get a grip on the dire situation in which they were left by the Biden regime. He said, “It very clearly is that we are fixing the problem that Joe Biden and the Democrats created in the last administration.”

Continuing, the vice president tried to separate the Trump Administration from the bad feelings surrounding the affordability crisis, saying, “If you look at every affordability crisis that’s confronting the American people today, it is traceable directly to a problem caused by Joe Biden and congressional Democrats.”

Adding to that, he noted that the housing crisis, a particular area of concern for younger Americans who have found it nearly impossible to afford houses as prices and interest rates climb precipitously, was clearly caused by the Biden Administration’s open border. He said, “Why did homes get so unaffordable? Because we had 20 million illegal aliens in this country taking homes that ought, by right to go to American citizens.”

Building on that point, he blamed them for the high taxes under which we suffer and the hugely inflated grocery bills that have led to increasing feelings of both anger and despondency amongst the American people, pinning both issues on Democrats as well.

Doing so, he said, “Why did tax bills get so unaffordable? Because Democrats were raising taxes while congressional Republicans under the President’s leadership, we’re now cutting taxes. Why did food get so expensive? Because we printed trillions of dollars and threw it into green scams that made our agricultural economy suffer while Americans were paying higher prices for food.”

Commenting on what Vance said, conservative political commentator Ryan Fournier said, in a post on Facebook, “JD Vance just went SCORCHED EARTH on how mass immigration is destroying the American Dream! He is 100% right. Why are homes unaffordable? Because we have 20 MILLION illegal aliens occupying housing that should belong to American citizens. Supply and demand. It is time to put our own people First.”
