WATCH: Jasmine Crockett Tries Smearing Trump Official, Gets Hilariously Fact-Checked

Things got very entertaining when far-left Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) tried going on the attack against Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) head Lee Zeldin in a ridiculous and raucous speech before the House of Representatives regarding Jeffrey Epstein, and ended up just humiliating herself by revealing she hasn’t done her research.

As background, what provoked Crockett’s absurd outburst was that documents released by the House Oversight Committee have revealed that Delegate Stacey Plaskett (D-Virgin Islands) and House Minority Leader Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) had taken donations from Epstein, as did other Democrats. Del. Plaskett even texted with Epstein during a committee hearing, letting those texts influence her line of questioning.

She then tried to shut down the bad optics for Democrats that had emerged on that front thanks to the exposition of their close connections to Epstein by insisting that other Republicans, such as Director Zeldin, had taken money from a “Jeffrey Epstein” as well, as revealed by SEC data.

Trying to claim as much in a speech she belted out at shouting volume before the House, Rep. Crockett insisted, “Folks who also took money from somebody named Jeffrey Epstein, as I had my team dig in very quickly: Mitt Romney, the NRCC, Lee Zeldin, George Bush, WinRed, McCain-Palin, Rick Lazio.”

Continuing, she insisted that the standard of revealing everyone who took Epstein bucks has to be equally applied, saying, “I just want to be clear: If this is the standard that we gonna make, just know we are gonna expose it all. And just know that the FEC filings, they are available for everyone to review. This is absolutely ridiculous.”

Director Zeldin fired back in a brutally to the point quote tweet on X, bringing the receipts and showing her to be a moron. He said, noting that she hadn’t bothered to do some basic research: “Yes Crockett, a physician named Dr. Jeffrey Epstein (who is a totally different person than the other Jeffrey Epstein) donated to a prior campaign of mine. NO 👏 FREAKIN 👏 RELATION 👏 YOU 👏 GENIUS!!!”

Rep. Crockett’s buffoonery hasn’t been the only fallout from the Epstein release. In the wake of Del. Plaskett’s Epstein texting scandal, Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC) tried to get her censured. Defending the move, he said, “The House of Representatives has a responsibility and a duty to protect the integrity of this institution. And what we learn from the documents released by Jeffrey Epstein’s estate is nothing short of alarming.”

He added, commenting on the jaw-dropping insanity of the scandal, “Those documents show that Delegate Stacey Plaskett, a sitting member of Congress, coordinated her questioning during an official Oversight hearing, with a man who was a convicted sex offender, a man whose crimes against minors shocked this entire nation.”

However, the motion was defeated by moderate Republicans and Democrats. Leading the charge defending her, Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) insisted, “Without even going to the Ethics Committee, much less a court, they want to arraign her on some charges based on a newspaper article, that she did something lawful — however ill-advised — it may have been. She took a phone call from one of her constituents.” He added, “Where is the ethical transgression? Where is the legal transgression? Are you saying anybody on your side of the aisle who had a phone call with Jeffrey Epstein should be censured?”
