In a clip posted to social media on October 26, 2024, Conservative influencer Jack Posobeic reacted to a clip of JD Vance clashing with CNN’s Jake Tapper. The then Candidate Vance, fended off wild attacks when he said that Donald Trump was attacked for his anti-war views. Tapper made a fool of himself, and many comments on the post expressed disgust with his actions.
“So all those 10 people, including the former Vice President Mike Pence, all of these people have this horribly damaged world view, and they’re all just going after Donald Trump because they want to send people into war. That’s what that’s really your argument,” Tapper said. To which Vance replied, Absolutely, it’s not like these are conservative..” he began before he was cut off.
“That’s not conservative Republicans people, these are conservative Republicans who are concerned about Donald Trump?” Tapper ranted. “All of these people, Jake, they came into office thinking that they could control Donald Trump,” replied Vance. “That when he said he wanted peace in the world, when he found out that he couldn’t they all turned on Donald Trump,” he concluded.
“Listen to Jake Tapper have an absolute hysterical meltdown, he’s practically screeching at JD Vance He knows his goose is cooked, he’s dropped every pretense of professionalism,” said Jack Posobeic, who initially posted the clip to X. “Tapper knows he’s vastly out of his league so he resorts to smug mean girl to cope,” a commenter noticed.
“Yes tapper we know they are all interested in war because they tell us this ALL THE TIME. Pence, Kelly, Bolton and the rest are constantly banging the drums of war in Ukraine, Iran, broader middle east and now even China. Its what defines “conservative republican” since 2000,” added another user. “@jaketapper is an unprofessional little snake. These “journalists” are such partisan hacks they can’t even let the person they are supposed to be interviewing answer their questions,” replied one woman.
“This, by the way, is what every interview of a non-leftist politician is like in the UK. Every single one,” replied one account. Trump has a superlative record when it comes to international relations, but @jaketapper thinks the opinion of people who don’t have that record and who were not elected President should carry more weight than objective reality,” added another.
“Well, if Jake’s caterwauling is any indication, we’ve reached the final act of this political tragicomedy, where the so-called elite, who preached the virtues of calm and collected discourse, are now left floundering—a pitiful chorus screeching their own swan song in an opera they penned,” one user replied to Jake Tapper’s biased coverage.
