In a deeply embarrassing clip, Sadiq Khan, the mayor of London, suggested that Donald Trump is obsessed with him, and he is living “rent-free” in the president’s mind. Clearly missing the irony, he slammed Trump as racist, sexist, misogynistic, and Islamophobic, citing Trump’s behavior and remarks, including calling Khan a “terrible mayor.”
For context, in a desperate attempt to defend himself, he highlighted the alleged success of his city, noting the record number of American visitors and the city’s global leadership in culture, investment, and entertainment. Still not done seething, he took issue wth the “special relationship” with the US and begged UK politicians to side with him against Trump.
In any case, the embarrassing mayor began his comments by listing out a half dozen lazy insults. A journalist started by asking, “I think people are wondering what it is about this Muslim mayor who leads a liberal, multi-cultural, progressive, successful city.” In a response clearly designed to be witty, he said,” That means I appear to be living rent-free inside Donald Trump’s head.”
Still not done, Kahn added, “When people say things, when people act in a certain way, when people behave in a certain way, you’ve got to believe them.” The reporter asked him to clarify, saying, “So you’re saying he is Islamophobic.”
Continuing to slander Trump, he stated, “I think you know, President Trump has shown he is racist, he is sexist, he is misogynistic, and he’s Islamophobic…” Interjecting, the interviewer noted, “And he called you a terrible Mayor as well. Are you a terrible mayor?”
In a shocking example of shameless self-promotion, the far-left mayor stated, “Well, listen, I’m just thankful that we have record numbers of Americans coming to London. Since records began, there’s only been a period where more Americans have come to London. There must be a reason for that.”
Whinging on, he continued to make meaningless comments, “You look at a number of different criteria, we’re often the number one city in the globe when it comes to culture, when it comes to foreign investment, when it comes to sports, when it comes to the ability of people to fulfill their potential. I’m really proud. We are the greatest city in the world,” Mayor Kahn stated.

Asking another question, the journalist deatured in the clip inquired, “Does it concern you that number 10 and the Prime Ministers seem to be spending a lot of time befriending Donald Trump. Does that concern you?’
Firing back, the triggered mayor tripped over his words. “Well, I see the benefits of Americans coming to London. I’ve seen the benefits of people recognizing what a great city we are. It’s for others to explain their views on President Trump.”

When the impetuous reporter asked if Trump was a racist again, the politician noted that, “perhaps the Prime Minister shouldn’t be befriending him quite as strongly. But one of the things about having a special relationship is that it’s akin to having a best friend. I think when you have a best friend, you should expect more from them. ”
