Immigration Tzar Tom Homan spoke with Fox News Business host Stuart Varney on March 4, 2025, to discuss suspected leaks within the FBI. Varney explained how leaks are tipping off illegal immigrants to upcoming ICE raids and could pose a danger to agents. Homan replied by saying these leakers would face the full force of the law. Not only is Homan coming for their jobs, but the leakers are facing criminal prosecution.
Tom Homan explained his passion for this issue by stressing these leaks put ICE agents at risk. He said that it is simply a matter of time before violent gang members take the opportunity to ambush ICE. Homan is not the only member of Trump’s cabinet to address this critical security flaw, and his remarks echo statements from Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, who has taken responsibility for securing arrests of leakers.
Varney began the segment by describing how radical leftists selfishly put law enforcement at risk. He said, “Activists continue to warn and instruct illegal migrants on expected ICE activity… They’re tipping off the illegals. What can you do about the leaks? Because somebody is telling the activists where you are and who you’re raiding.”
Homan replied by promising to find the source of the leak. The Immigration Tsar said, “When we find out who they are, not only [are they going] to be unemployed, they’re going to be prosecuted. We’re taking this seriously. Look, you know the danger of [being an] ICE agent, the danger they face every day…that’s worth concentrating on. It’s already a dangerous job.”
He continued to explain what could happen if these violent groups took advantage of a leak to strike back at ICE. He explained, “It’s a matter of time before one of these leaks causes an ambush, either by a member of TDA, Ms 13, or one of these groups; I just don’t care. They would take pride in the fact that they killed an ICE agent or another law enforcement officer.”
Homan concluded his remarks by promising to solve the issue. He said, “We’re going to hold these people accountable. We’re pulling out all stops. The Inspector General is involved. Secretary Noem’s got her staff involved. I got people involved. When we find out who they are …we will prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law. They’re putting our agents in great danger, and it’s only a matter of time before one of our officers will not go home to their families at night because of these leaks, we’re taking immediate action.”

Although she spoke before Homan gave his statement, DHS Head Kristi Noem echoed some of his points. She said, “Hi, everyone; I wanted to give you a quick update. We have identified two leakers of information here at the Department of Homeland Security who have been telling individuals about our operations and putting law enforcement lives in jeopardy,” she said in the video. ” We plan to prosecute these two individuals and hold them accountable for what they’ve done, and we’re going to continue to do all that we can to keep America safe.”
In the caption to the same post, she added additional details about the consequences for this crime. She wrote, “We have identified criminal leakers within @DHSgov and are preparing to refer these perpetrators to the @TheJusticeDept for felony prosecutions. These individuals face up to 10 years in federal prison. We will find and root out all leakers. They will face prison time & we will get justice for the American people.”
