In a resurfaced video, Chairman James Comer kicked out the far-left Florida Democrat Rep. Maxwell Frost after he slandered President Trump as the “grifter in chief” during a House Oversight Committee Meeting. Comer shut the disrespectful Democrat down, and his actions won him widespread praise on social media for restoring order to the House.
For context, Frost assumed office on January 3, 2023, as a member of the Democratic Party and made history as the first member of Generation Z to be elected to Congress. The 25-year-old Democrat has become infamous for his far-left policies and public theatrics.
The drama began on February 25, 2025, when Rep. Frost slandered Trump as the “grifter in chief” and claimed that Elon Musk was using his office to enrich himself. He said, “People like the grifter in chief, Trump, and President Musk are openly using their public offices to enrich themselves to the tune of billions of dollars.”
Raging, the Florida representative continued to attack Musk. He said, “So, if we want to look at waste, fraud, and abuse, which I’m down to do, why is there complete silence on the other side of the aisle about looking at the complete grifter that … is the president of the United States and the richest man on the earth-”
However, before Frost could continue his slander, Comer stepped in to restore order. He respectfully asked the woke ideologue “to revise your remark with respect to improperly identifying the president of the United States.”
Pivoting back to his tirade, Frost refused to act respectfully. He retorted, “I’ll say ‘President Musk’ and ‘grifter in chief Trump…President Musk and the president of the United States, Donald Trump, who is engaged in grifting of the American people, often use their public offices to enrich themselves. Someone on the other side was just asking, ‘How would you feel if you called someone else from the …”

Before he could finish, Rep. Comer noted that Frost was still breaking the rules. The chairman interjected, “Hold off, hold off, Mr. Frost, hold off!…the chair finds the words from the gentleman from Florida are not parliamentary because they constitute personalities toward the president, which, if you sit in the House floor, that’s always uttered by the presiding officer on the House floor, you cannot disparage the president of the United States.”
Concluding the exchange, Comer said that Rep. Frost “is barred from further participation.” However, refusing to accept this censure, Frost kept ranting. Fed up with the shameful display, Comer threatened to kick Frost out if he “doesn’t refrain” from his outbursts.
Conservatives reacted with rage to the shocking lack of decorum and expressed their feelings on social media. One of the comments read, “Isn’t it amazing that it just takes one man with a backbone to stand up for Americans and suddenly more men and women start developing a backbone. Rep. Frost was very unprofessional, and his “act” had no place on the floor of Congress. Good for Rep. Comer.”
Others comments read, “How are those punks elected representatives? Who would have elected them!!! Blues states’ elections are rigged @FBI.” Some responses said that this showboating was typical of the young Democrat. One such response read, “He was given chances to clean it up He got exactly what he wanted which was attention.”
