WATCH: Harris Gives Wild Answer When Asked about Brandon’s Cognitive Abilities in Tense Interview

Vice President Kamala Harris, perhaps because of polling showing that her lack of doing interviews is reflecting poorly on her in the polls, has been out and about doing a great number of interviews and media appearances, after largely remaining away from the camera for the first part of her campaign. Amongst those recent interviews was hers with Fox News Channel’s Bret Baier.

That interview, which debuted on the night of Wednesday, October 16, was something of a “nuclear disaster” for the Vice President and 2024 Democratic candidate. Not only did she stumble over explaining how she will be different than this administration, but she had a berserk yelling moment that exploded on social media, in which she loudly rambled about “democracy.”

Amongst the other bad moments of the interview was the one in which she tried to attack former President Donald Trump for being mentally “unstable,” which led, in turn, to Baier asking her about the cognitive health of President Joe Biden. She had no good answer to that, and looking stumped about the subject she brought up.

Baier, asking her about her comments on former President Trump, whom she has referred to as “unstable,” asked, “You’ve called Donald Trump… he’s ‘misguided,’ you say now he’s unstable, he’s not well, you say he’s mentally not stable.” Responding, Kamala insisted it was true, saying, “He is unstable, Bret.”

Baier then, having pulled her into a trap, noted that she had said President Biden was sharp and vigorous, saying. “Let me ask you this, you told many interviewers that Joe Biden was on his game, that ran around circles on his staff.” And, indicating that she lied to the public about the president’s health, Baier further said, “When did you first notice that President Biden’s mental faculties appeared diminished?”

Harris, shockingly, acted as if there are no issues with Biden’s brain, saying, “Joe Biden, I have watched in from the Oval Office to the Situation Room and he has the judgment and the experiment and experience to do exactly what he has done in making very important decisions on behalf of the American people.”

Pressing her a bit more on the subject, Baier asked if there were really no concerns raised about the president’s diminished cognitive capabilities, asking, “There were no concerns raised?” Harris, at that point, snapped about Trump instead of defending her position, saying, “Bret, Joe Biden is not on the ballot… and Donald Trump is.” Watch that spat here:

Commenters on X (formerly Twitter) were quite harsh in response. One, for example, wrote, “An unhinged Kamala Harris once again showed why she is not fit to be president of the United States in the Brett Baier interview. She cannot give an answer for Brett’s assertion of why she kept Biden’s cognitive decline a secret and LIED about, then she blames Trump for her low approval rating. You can’t make this stuff up.”

Another commenter noted that the coverup of Biden’s cognitive health was quite significant, saying, “I think the key takeaway from Bret Baier’s interview with Kamala Harris is that she played a pivotal role in arguably one of the most significant cover-ups in American history: concealing Joe Biden’s cognitive decline.”
