Causing widespread eye rolling, Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) compared the White House to a crime scene in a now-infamous clip. Reacting to the video, famous rapper and radio host Charlemagne tha God blasted the politician as “Chuck E Cheese Obama.”
For reference, this was far from Rep. Jeffries’s only public embarrassment as the shutdown drags into its 5th week. For example, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt lambasted House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries as an “America Last, stone-cold loser” in a blistering series of remarks after he called her “demented, ignorant, a stone-cold liar,” another epic meltdown.
Trying to fight back and ending up just making an embarrassing remark, the New York Democrat has insisted, “These Republicans. They are not the party of law and order. They’re the party of lawlessness and disorder in all of the ways, including the ongoing crime scene at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.”
It was in response to that comment that Charlemagne slammed him as “Chuck E Cheese Obama”. Doing so and echoing the thoughts of many Americans, the rapper joked, “Come on, people are angry. So, why is Hakeem Jeffries talking like he’s Chuck E. Cheese’s Obama? Okay, what are we doing? What are we doing? Come on, man, come on, come on.”
As could be expected, that led to a huge amount of gloating and mockery from the conservative side of social media. For example, reacting to this cringeworthy comment, one viral social media post exclaimed, “MUST-WATCH: Charlamagne called Rep. Hakeem Jeffries ‘Chuck E. Cheese Obama.” “Why is Hakeem Jeffries talking like he’s Chuck E. Cheese Obama!”

As was reported by the American Tribune, Jeffries has continued facing a great deal of pressure from the right over the shutdown. Press Secretary Leavitt, for example, noted that “Hakeem and Democrats are lashing out because they know what I said is true. The Democrat Party’s elected officials absolutely cater to pro-Hamas terrorists, illegal aliens, and violent criminals. House Democrats voted against a resolution condemning Hamas following the horrific Oct. 7 terrorist attacks, and Democrats cheered on pro-Hamas radicals while they hijacked America’s college campuses and harassed Jewish students.”
Doubling down, she attacked the DNC’s record. “Democrats opened our borders and allowed tens of millions of illegal aliens into our country over the past four years, including rapists and murderers, because they view them as future voters. Democrats coddle violent criminals and support soft-on-crime policies like cashless bail that let violent offenders back on the streets to hurt law-abiding citizens,” Leavitt noted.
Moving back to the embarrassing New York politician, Leavitt declared, “Democrats do NOT serve the interests of the American people. Hakeem Jeffries is an America Last, stone-cold loser. Now open up the government and stop simping to try to get your radical left-wing base to like you.”
In his highly controversial inciting remarks, Jeffries made himself look like a total fool. “You’ve got Karoline Leavitt, who’s sick. She’s out of control. And I’m not sure whether she’s just demented, ignorant, a stone-cold liar, or all of the above,” he claimed.
Wrapping up his comments, he blasted the GOP for presenting itself as the party of order. “But the notion that an official White House spokesperson would say that the Democratic Party consists of terrorists, violent criminals, and undocumented immigrants makes no sense, that this is what the American people are getting from the Trump administration in the middle of a shutdown,” the entitled Democrat said.
