WATCH: GOP Senator Reveals How Democrats Are Desperately Trying to Cover Up Massive Fraud

Democrats showed their true colors when they opted not to attend a hearing of the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, which was scheduled to hear testimony concerning allegations of fraud. Independent journalist Nick Shirley, the young man who blew the lid off massive daycare center fraud in the Somali community of Minneapolis, Minnesota, was one of those who testified before the committee.

Shirley stated that the reason fraud is being publicized so much right now is because it is extremely pervasive and easy to spot. “Fraud is so rampant in the United States that I could go to all 50 states and uncover millions of tax dollars being defrauded, wasted and abused,” Shirley said in his prepared statement.

He then called on Congress to “take action and help Americans by taking massive action to protect our tax dollars and end the fraud and to always put Americans first.” He then added, “People wonder how fraud became so rampant in the United States. It is because no one ever looked before.” Shirley then took aim at the recent fraud uncovered in California.

“California’s Medicaid program has doubled from $108 billion to $222 billion while enrollment rose by less than 1%. The system is filled with fraudsters. California is functionally bankrupt,” he explained to the committee. The journalist then pointed out that fraud reached beyond the economic realm and into the world of elections.

“In California, a dog was able to vote in 2 elections and was only caught when the owner turned herself in to prove a point. It’s been proven through the work of others that the homeless were being paid to vote in California. How can we allow this?” he said, according to a report from the Western Journal. Later in the hearing, Sen. Bernie Moreno (R-OH) took the Democratic Party to the proverbial woodshed for not showing up to the hearing and addressing the issue.

“I think preventing fraud in government should be completely nonpartisan. It’s not a Democrat issue or Republican issue, yet the entire, almost the entirety of the Republican dias is filled with people sitting here listening to the entire hearing, and literally the entire Democrat dias is empty,” Moreno went on to say. “I think that’s quite frankly a disgrace. I think it’s a disgrace to the people who pay taxes to know that there’s an entire party that does not care whether taxpayer money is burnt,” the Ohio senator added.

A video clip of Moreno’s comments has gone viral on social media, with folks flocking to the post on X to share their thoughts on the Democrats’ no-show. “Members of ANY party should not be allowed to be absent from hearings regardless of the subject matter. YOU WORK FOR US!!” one user wrote.

“Because the Democrats make their living off of fraud. It’s the only way they get elected,” another said. “It tells us all we need to know. The entire party is corrupt and they represent themselves. It’s a criminal organization and they need to be investigated under RICO!” someone else noted.
