WATCH: GOP Senator Exposes Blue State AG’s Ties to Antifa

Speaking during the same Senate Homeland Security Committee in which Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) went nuclear on Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison over his alleged ties to the infamous Minnesota fraudsters, Sen. Ashley Moody (R-FL) confronted Keith Ellison regarding his past support for Antifa.

Particularly, Sen. Moody went nuclear on AG Ellison over a 2018 tweet in which Ellison, who was then a congressman, posed while smiling with a copy of “Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook”, a pro-Antifa book. Sen. Moody and other critics have contended that he was signaling his support for the violent, domestic terrorist group with the picture.

Beginning her takedown of Ellison, Moody snapped, “The Trump administration said they have removed from your state 10,000 people that were here illegally, that had criminal backgrounds. Is that a good thing or a bad thing?” Then, after Ellison questioned the number, she fired back, “They have removed 10s of 1000s of people across the country that are here illegally, that have committed crimes they have a criminal background. Is that a good thing or a bad thing?”

That then led to a lengthy, tiresome back and forth in which Ellison insisted the illegal aliens could only be justly deported if they had been convicted of a serious crime first, and Sen. Moody repeatedly calling him out for the utter absurdity of that claim and how nation-wrecking it would be.

Later on, Moody hammered Ellison for refusing to help the Trump Administration deport illegal aliens, noting that only seven counties in Minnesota are openly doing so, and then adding, “Would it surprise you that Florida has every one of our counties signed up to help the administration rid our communities of those that are here legally committing crimes?”

He refused to answer, leading to her saying, ll of these problems in Minnesota because you have a top cop that won’t help rid its community of those here illegally committing crimes. You know what? The tale of two states? A Tale of Two attorney generals in the how this is all playing out? It’s it should surprise no one in this country.”

Continuing, the senator then insisted that the chaos in Minnesota is his fault, snapping, “And in fact, let me go a step further. It should surprise no one in this country that the problems that we have had in your state as a result of a top cop not working with law enforcement to make its community safe and rid people here committing crimes that you’re seeing what has played out.”

Then, as Ellison again tried to insist he wasn’t to blame, Sen. Moody dropped the Antifa-connection hammer on him, saying, “You can’t have an attorney [who is pictured] supporting Antifa with an expectation you are going to have a civilized, stable, safe community that works with federal law enforcement to deport criminals here illegally committing crime.”

She concluded, ‘That is a joke, and it is also the reason why you have a crisis in law enforcement ranks. You have such a high vacancy rate in your state because no one that wears a badge and does these dangerous jobs believes that their top cop supports them, and as the wife of a law enforcement officer, I think that is a shame, and your state deserves better.”
