WATCH: GOP Sen. Captures Alleged Video of Illegal Immigrants Tucked Away at ATL Airport

Recently, a Georgia state senator captured video of what appears to show groups of illegal immigrants hidden in rooms guarded by military personnel at the Atlanta International Airport.  GOP Sen. Colton Moore, the vice chairman of the Georgia Freedom Caucus, recorded the footage after allegedly receiving a tip from a concerned whistleblower.

Video of the incident was shared on social media, garnering attention from the press.  Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin commented, “This is bizarre. Video shot by a GA state senator appears to show groups of illegal immigrants in a room at ATL airport – with a soldier guarding the door. A volunteer with a NGO inside says they were recently released by ICE, then blocks his camera & says he can’t film.”

In the video, Moore and another gentleman can be seen walking through the airport, where they come to a guarded room which they were blocked from entering.  Moore began questioning an individual on the situation, where he is informed the migrants are “getting to where they need to be.”

“We’re all getting them flights to where they need to be,” the volunteer can be heard saying. “These are just recently documented travelers getting released from ICE and getting to where they need to be.” He added.  “There are people that, they get dropped off here from ICE detention with no help.”

Moore later described that when he tried to film the room he was confronted by the guard who attempted to confiscate his phone.  The senator explained that he was then asked to leave the area by the military personnel in what Moore described as a “big scene.”

“The room was absolutely packed with people from every continent on this planet,” Moore stated. “When I took my phone and reached it up above the guy to get a better view of all the illegals in the room, that’s when chaos broke out. That’s when the U.S. Army guy took the phone. It was a scrimmage between he and I in order to get the phone back. And then he proceeded to tell me to get out of there and just made a real big scene out of it.”

As illegal immigration continues to soar under the Biden administration, the border has become a hot political topic ahead of the upcoming election.  The American Tribune recently reported on the “Take Our Border Back” convoy departing from Norfolk, Virginia, to Eagle Pass, Texas.

According to the organizers of “Take Our Border Back”:  “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances. Therefore, We are first recognizing our rights to peaceable assemble. Second, we are exercising our rights to freedom of speech that shall not be abridged. Third, the American people are making their voice’s heard by participating in the convoy as a petition to the federal government for redress of our grievances. Last, we are exercising our rights to God. We are calling on all Americans to pray and join the convoy peaceably.”
