President Joe Biden, during an MLK Day event, reverted to form in demanding gun control and once again threatening Americans with F-15s, saying “I am going to get ‘assault weapons’ banned. I did it once and I’m going to do it again. And ban the number of bullets that can go in a magazine. There’s no no need for any of that.“I love my right-wing friends who talk about the tree of liberty is watered with the blood of patriots. If you need to worry about taking on the federal government you need some F-15s. You don’t need an AR-15. Think about it.”
Well, Fox News Channel’s Geraldo Rivera decided to go full bore RINO and defend Biden’s pro-gun control comments and attack private ownership of AR-15s, saying “it makes makes Macho the people who possess it. ‘Oh, look at me. I’m a big deal’. And it’s not a right. It is an automatic rifle. ”
Geraldo’s counterpart, trying to cut in, said “It is” repeatedly when Geraldo was saying that owning an AR-15 is not a right and then, when Geraldo said “It is an automatic rifle,” that counterpart said “No, that’s not what it is.”
Indeed. AR-15 rifles are, unless illegal or expensive, Class III modifications have been made, only semi-automatic. That means they can only fire once per trigger pull and are not actually “automatic rifles.”
But still Geraldo pressed on with the delusions and incorrect comments, saying “Well, I all I know is that AR-15s have no place in American society other than sport clubs. Okay. And I agree with him on that.”
So Geraldo must not have read the 2nd Amendment, which clearly states “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” Not a single mention of sport clubs! Nor one about why scary black rifles need to be banned.
In any case, Geraldo wasn’t done. He then sided with Biden and Democrats on the IRS issue, saying ” I also think ironically that we do need more IRS agents if they say we need more.”
Watch the embarrassing, for Geraldo, clip here:

Geraldo, predictably, got savaged in the comments on the above clip, with enraged and bemused conservatives saying things like:
“It never fails. The people who know the least about guns are the ones fighting the hardest to get them banned.”
“The AR in “AR-15” rifle stands for ArmaLite rifle, after the company that developed it in. the 1950s. “AR” does NOT stand for “assault rifle” or “automatic rifle. @GeraldoRivera do your research”
“And we don’t need more IRS agents. We need more police in our schools, more border agents and more control over our government spending. How’s that for a good start.”
“@GeraldoRivera AR does not stand for Automatic Rifle, or Assault Rifle, its literally a designation for ArmaLite Rifle, (A)rmaLite (R)ifle, model number 15, AR-15. They also have the AR-5, AR-7, AR-10, AR-18, etc.”
