A viral video captured a heartwarming, festive moment at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida. During the dinner, President-elect Trump danced to the Village People’s “YMCA” alongside Elon Musk, seated next to him, with Barron Trump watching amusedly and Melania nearby.
For context, the group was Trump’s now iconic dance in the celebratory moment. When the clip went viral on social media, dozens of conservatives left their reactions in the comments. Specifically, users drew attention to the close ties between Trump and Musk.
“Elon Musk is rocking out to YMCA at Mar-a-Lago with Donald Trump, Barron and Melania 🤣” noted conservative influencer Benny Johnson. Looking back later, the same user stated, “EXTREMELY RARE: Trump, Melania, Elon Musk doing the Trump Dance together.”
“This is awesome! MAGA is going to change this country back to greatness!” reacted one of the comments. “I think Trump has adopted Elon. So sweet. Elon never had a father figure other than his abusive father that left,” another pointed out.
Likewise, one user reacted, “Epic night at Mar-a-Lago! Trump always knows how to bring together the greatest minds. Love seeing Elon embracing the MAGA movement. Rounding out the comments, another reply stated, “I just love the fact that Elon is hanging out with our President. It’s like they’re best buds. Also, looks like their party is a blast,t and they are still celebrating Trump’s victory. God bless them. Grateful.”
As we reported in the American Tribune, a high-ranking Trump official gave important insight into Elon’s vital role in the White House. “[He] came into this office, it was, you know, Elon and his team were extremely helpful to me. They helped me identify that some of my own employees in my department had downloaded software on my phone and my laptop to spy on me, to record our meetings,” said DHS Secretary Kristi Noem.
Building out these stories, she stated, “They had done that to several of the politicians, and so we ended up bringing in people, and that was something: if you didn’t have those technology experts here in the department looking at all our laptops and phones and recognizing that kind of software, it would still be happening today.”

Fired, fired, brought in, polygraphed, fired,” she confirmed, “I think that what happened at this department was that individuals had gotten away with for years, spying on people who were politically appointed, and trying to stop an administration that was coming in and trying to fix this country and keep us safe.”
