WATCH: Fraternity Bros Challenge Antifa to Push Up Contest

An astoundingly funny incident took place at Seattle’s University of Washington on Tuesday, May 7. Then, a collection of Antifa-affiliated protesters were seen on campus for a protest and were approached by a number of members of a fraternity at the school. Those fraternity men challenged the Antifa members to a push-up contest, a contest of strength to which the Antifa protesters demurred.

The group of Antifa protesters, as background, appeared to be on campus in response to an event hosted by conservative student organization Turning Point USA at which TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk was to speak. Pamphlets handed out before the event, Charlie Kirk claimed on X, called on members to “gather” and “disrupt, oppose, and reject white supremacy, Zionism, and Christian nationalism.” It also encouraged them to wear black and travel in groups.

In any case, one of those groups was caught on camera by journalist Jonathan Choe, who posted, captioning the funny video, “Frat boys confronting Antifa goons at the University of Washington in Seattle, challenging them to a push-up contest. These men are going to save America. @TPUSA @FrontlinesTPUSA @charliekirk11″

In the video, a collection of college kids, reportedly fraternity men, and a small group of Antifa members can be seen approaching each other as one of the Antifa members mumbles into a megaphone. Two of the frat bros were talking to the Antifa members as Choe exclaims, “They’re challenging Antifa to a push up contest!”

Then, from the crowd, one person claps and yells, “Let’s do some push ups!” Responding, an Antifa member spoke about using a nearby tent for a pull-up contest, firing back, “Where are you going to do pull-ups at? Go do pull-ups on that tent. Right now, if you do more pull-ups than me — you go first.”

A small degree of chaos commenced, with the reported fraternity brother gesturing at the Antifa activist as other reported Antifa members held up umbrellas. Choe, commenting on the scene, says, “I never thought I’d see this. Antifa is being challenged by frat boys to do push-ups.” Choe then commented, “You think this is about strength. It’s about ideas.”

One student, responding, said, “I don’t know brother. My ideas are strong. I bench 225, you bench — I don’t know —” The push up challenge then went unanswered, as a second person with a megaphone started yelling and the clip came to an end.

Unfortunately, things took a turn for the much worse later, as Choe was attacked by Antifa at UW. Charlie Kirk, tweeting about the incident, said, “🚨🚨Our @TPUSA Frontlines reporter Jonathan Choe and his security guard have just been attacked by ANTIFA thugs as they were reporting near the UW encampment. His security was punched multiple times and bloodied before he and Choe fled. Police are on the scene…”

Similarly, TPUSA’s “Frontlines” X account posted, “BREAKING: FRONTLINES reporter @choeshow
and his security were attacked by members of ANTIFA near the anti-Israel encampment at the University of Washington. Cops were called to the scene and are now investigating. We’ve reached out to the school for comment, but so far no response.”
