Former ESPN host Sage Steele recently called out Alyssa Farah, a co-host on ABC’s “The View,” labeling her an “opportunist.”  Farah, the former White House Director of Strategic Communications under the Trump administration,

During a recent segment on the daytime talk show, Griffin urged the Democratic Party to “start fighting harder” as the election draws nearer, given that former President Donald Trump seems to have a legitimate shot at defeating Joe Biden in November.
During an appearance on Fox News’ “Gutfeld!”, Steele discussed how “this is the first time” the Democratic Party lacks a viable successor aside from President Biden.  “I think it’s the first time, at least what, in the last 20 years, where there hasn’t been, ‘Okay, if not this, then this person.’ There’s silence,” Steele stated. “I don’t recall the last time that happened on the Democrat side.”
Steele called Farah for working under the Trump administration and then seemingly jumping ship, looking out for her own career, when the former president lost to Joe Biden in 2020.  After her time in the White House, the former communications director initially worked for CNN before moving to “The View.”

“Can I just real quick be really mean? I need, I need to,” Steele began. “I don’t wanna give Alyssa too much credit because how often have we been able to say she’s right? She worked for the Trump White House. Her entire career is because of the Trump White House, and she was behind everybody there, and then all of a sudden he loses the election and what does she do? She jumps to CNN and now to The View.”

The former ESPN host turned outspoken conservative commentator labeled her an “opportunist,” insinuating that Farah lacks loyalty to the conservative cause. “She’s an opportunist.  And so, that’s it, you’re one and done.”

The American Tribune also reported on recent comments from Sage Steele, where she revealed how a former interview she conducted with Joe Biden was entirely scripted.  According to Steele, the ESPN interview was not allowed to deviate from the predetermined staged conversation.  Watch Sage’s appearance on “Gutfeld!” below:

“This was about two months after he took office. That was an interesting experience in its own right because it was so structured and I was told, you will say every word that we write out you will not deviate from the script and go,” she said.

Sage pointed out that literally every word spoken in the interview with Biden had to go through a thorough approval process. She claimed that she was not even permitted to ask Biden follow-up questions about his answers.

“To the word, like every single question was scripted, gone over dozens of times by many executives, editors and executives. Absolutely. I was on script and was told not to deviate. It was very much this is what you will ask. This is how you will say, no follow ups, no follow ups next,” according to Sage.

She continued, “I knew that this was a lot bigger than just the wonderful editors that I worked with. Just went up to the fourth floor as we said that we’re all the bosses, the top executives that decision makers are the president of our company, the CEO, where were they all worked,” she added.
