The father of a girl who was permanently disabled after being involved in a truck driving accident by an illegal alien completely savaged “grandstanding” lawmakers, laying the blame for what happened to his daughter squarely on the shoulders of Democrats and their sanctuary policies. Marcus Coleman is the father of seven-year-old Dalilah Coleman, the victim whose life was forever altered by the accident.
Coleman tore into congressional Democrats for allowing illegal aliens to remain in the U.S. and find ways to get involved in industries like trucking, causing accidents that have killed Americans and left others either severely injured or permanently disabled. Coleman’s daughter, Dalilah, was only five years old when she was hit by an illegal alien from India who was operating an 18-wheeler in June 2024.
“I reject your guys’ sympathy, to be honest with you,” Coleman went on to say during a House Judiciary Committee hearing. “There’s no way you guys are sorry. Not one of you guys have ever called me. Not one of you guys have ever reached out to me. Not when you guys have ever sat there and seen me in the hallways and said, ‘Hey, sorry about your daughter.’”
“You guys do it right here while you guys are grandstanding on top of your soapbox. This is when you guys care. Right here inside this room is the only time you guys care,” Coleman added, according to a report from The Daily Caller. The Indian illegal alien who hit Dalilah obtained his CDL from the sanctuary state of California, which has a lengthy history of issuing such licenses to noncitizens.
“My daughter doesn’t deserve this,” Coleman continued. “She didn’t ask for any of this. The people that jumped the fence did though. They knew exactly what they were doing. They still chose to move forward in that direction. And every day something’s happening to somebody, and it is your guys’s fault,” the angry father concluded.
Unfortunately, Dalilah’s story isn’t the only one of its kind, especially since former President Joe Biden allowed a flood of illegal aliens to enter the country during his time in the Oval Office and did nothing about it. In February 2026, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested an illegal alien semi-truck driver who was also issued a CDL license — by the state of Pennsylvania — after he swerved into oncoming traffic and struck a van head-on, killing four people.

The Department of Homeland Security put out a press release concerning the accident, saying that the driver, Bekzhan Beishekeev, 30, originally from Kyrgyzstan, entered the country illegally during the Biden administration through the CBP One app. He was then released into the United States. Beishekeev later obtained his commercial driver’s license from Pennsylvania.
Beishekeev was driving east on Indiana’s State Route 67 when he failed to brake for a slowed semi-truck that was in front of him. He then swerved into the westbound lane and slammed into a van carrying 15 passengers. Four people were killed in the accident. ICE then issued a detainer for Beishekeev and thanks to Indiana cooperating with immigration officials, they were able to take him into custody.
