WATCH: Elon Sends Woke Democrat Leader into Whining, On-Air Tailspin

Elon Musk has a talent for setting off all the worst people in some of the funniest ways, much like President Donald Trump, his former boss, and somehow that talent even applies to professional politicians who should know better than to get in the mud and wrestle with him, an utterly no-win situation.

Such was evident yet again during the Monday, June 2, broadcast of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” on which Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) appeared and had a berserk meltdown about Mr. Musk in which he demanded that the former Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) head apologize for what DOGE did.

Particularly, Sen. Schumer once again repeated the lie that DOGE was responsible for the airline disasters we saw in recent months, and absurdly claimed that it was somehow a bad thing for DOGE to fire thousands of do-nothing federal employees who were merely sucking up tax dollars while providing no value to taxpayers.

What appears to have set Schumer off this time is that Elon said in an interview that he worked with the Trump Administration despite disagreeing with it on some things. He said, “It’s not like I agree with everything the administration does. I mean, I agree with much of what the administration does, but we have differences of opinion. You know, there are things that I don’t entirely agree with.”

He added, “But it’s difficult for me to bring that up in an interview because then it creates a bone of contention. So then, I’m a little stuck in a bind, where I’m like, ‘Well, I don’t want to, you know, speak up against the administration, but I also don’t want to take responsibility for everything this administration’s doing.’”

Further, Elon complained that DOGE “became the whipping boy for everything,” which he said was “a bit unfair.” Commenting on that, he said, “So if there was some cut, real or imagined, everyone would blame DOGE. I’ve had people think that, like, somehow DOGE is going to stop them from getting their Social Security check, which is completely untrue.”

Funnily enough, Schumer, in his rambling meltdown about Musk, went ahead and did the whipping boy routine. Beginning, he ridiculously claimed that DOGE, in cutting away waste and fraud, is the reason some Americans are struggling. He said, “He says he’s in a bind. The American people are in a bind because of what Musk did.”

Continuing, Schumer claimed that DOGE had done a great deal of damage to American agencies, though without explaining how cutting out the waste did that damage. He said, “His DOGE, which, you know, didn’t go, didn’t do as much as he wanted it to do, but still did huge amounts of damage in terms of the firing of employees, the decimation of agencies like health care, like going after, making sure drugs and food is safe, nuclear energy is safe.”

Then, repeating his common lie about how it was supposedly Mr. Musk and DOGE who were responsible for plane crashes and airline delays that are clearly caused by on the ground or in the air incompetence rather than DOGE’s anti-fraud efforts, saying, “The FAA we need to bolster and he — I believe they put a freeze on it. They didn’t hire new people.”

Still not done, Sen. Schumer then said, on much the same point about the supposed damage DOGE has done, “Over and over again, what Musk did with his DOGE is going to cause lasting damage to the American people. And just saying now he’s out of the administration and he’s in a bind, that’s ridiculous.”

Finally concluding, the far-left Swamp creature said, “He ought to be apologizing to the American people for what he has done. If for some reason he sees the light, I don’t know if he does or not. But that’s what we need. An apology and him to tell Trump to undo the damage that he has done.”
