In a recently unearthed episode of the Joe Rogan Experience, the host spoke with Elon Musk about a lawsuit filed by the Biden administration’s Department of Justice against SpaceX, accusing the company of not hiring asylum seekers, which Musk says was directly orchestrated by top DNC donors and known Jeffrey Epstein associates.
For context, Musk explains that he was in a bind where the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) barred SpaceX from hiring anyone who is not a U.S. permanent resident. However, Biden’s Department of Justice sued him for refusing to hire migrants. While the case was eventually dismissed, Musk says that it is a classic example of Democratic corruption and lawfare.
In any case, the clip and Musk’s revelation about the Jeffrey Epstein scandal were highlighted by a March 26, 2025, post to X. In this post, the user noted, “Here it is—everything is coming to light. The Biden administration allowed top Democrat donors and Jeffrey Epstein associates to sponsor DOJ investigations…Think about that. Democrats let their wealthy donors weaponize law enforcement to go after political enemies.”
Concluding, the same post reiterated how this investigation was used to go after Musk for his politics. The user noted, “Musk explained that the DOJ investigation into SpaceX dragged on for years, exposing how deeply law enforcement has been politicized—and it was bankrolled by a top Democrat donor.”
Explaining the situation, Musk described how he was persecuted by the Biden DOJ, saying, “The Biden administration was also suing SpaceX. They had this massive lawsuit against SpaceX for SpaceX not hiring asylum seekers, right? …, bro, the Department of Justice had a massive lawsuit against SpaceX for not hiring asylum seekers, even though it is illegal for us to hire anyone who is not a permanent resident.”
Providing further context, the tech genius explained the bind this left his company in. Musk stated, “So it is both. There’s a law that says you have to hire asylum seekers. Still, there’s also a law that says anyone hired by a rocket company, which is an advanced weapons technology, must be a permanent resident. An asylum seeker is not a permanent resident, so it is both legal and illegal to hire asylum seekers. …why would they do such a massive lawsuit against SpaceX?”
Reacting with shock, podcaster Joe Rogan said, “It just doesn’t make any sense that that could ever even get past the first day of someone looking at it. If it’s both illegal and you’re trying to enforce it, like you can’t enforce it. …This is crazy…It should be like this. ‘Throw this out.'”

Repling with an astute read of the situation, Elon answered, “Yeah, that’s the other thing that drives me crazy, like that. People don’t understand that if you sanction lawfare like that, if you sanction attacking your political enemies, someone’s gonna do that to you.”
Continuing to hammer the deep state, Musk said that this had set a terrible precedent for future reprisals. He explained, “You’ve already set a precedent. You’ve already attacked someone. Charged them with 34 felonies, where they’re really just misdemeanors, and they’ve also passed the statute of limitations. And now you’re talking all over the news that this is a convicted felon, convicted felon. They kept saying, ‘convicted felon, convicted felon.’ And everybody knows what it is.”

Concluding his remarks, the tech genius declared, “It’s terrifying. They could do it so brazenly to a guy who was the president for four years,” turning back to the original lawsuit, he revealed, “That lawsuit was funded by Reid Hoffman, who is a major damn donor and also an Epstein client.”
