WATCH: Elon Musk Catches Jessica Tarlov in a Total Lie and Absolutely Demolishes Her

A viral video clip of liberal Fox News anchor Jessica Tarlov getting caught in a huge lie and totally dismantled by billionaire and former head of the Department of Government Efficiency, Elon Musk, has resurfaced on social media. Tarlov sat down to conduct an interview with Musk, the CEO of Tesla, in April 2025, pressing him on DOGE cuts to agencies with oversight of businesses in which he has a financial interest.

At the time, both Musk and President Donald Trump were widely slammed by leftists for alleged potential conflicts of interest between Musk’s new role in the government and his various companies. “OK. Well, liberal Tesla lover here. My sister has two in her family, so have not thrown any Molotov cocktails recently,” Tarlov started the interview. Musk laughed at the wisecrack and said, “Thanks.”

“But I wanted to talk to you about what DOGE has been doing,” she continued. “So you have been making cuts to a lot of the agencies that have open investigations and regulatory battles with your companies. At the same time, you continue to get billions in government contracts. Tesla gets billions in subsidies. How do you explain that to the American people?”

Musk immediately saw through what Tarlov was trying to do, responding, “Well, everything that DOGE does is an open book. So we’re, I think, the most transparent action, the most transparent organization in government. Every single DOGE action is listed on the DOGE.gov website. It’s also listed on the X handle.”

“So if anyone has a concern about any one of those actions, they can bring that up. They can raise that. And I do want to say, like, sometimes, we make a mistake. Nobody bats .1000. We will at times make a mistake. And we will make a mistake. We will act very quickly to correct it. I am under such an extreme spotlight, so much scrutiny, that it is literally impossible for me to get away with anything nefarious, and, obviously, nor do I wish to,” Musk continued, according to a report from Mediaite.

Musk then explained that DOGE is unlike any other government agency ever established, in that it strives for radical transparency and is willing to admit when they make mistakes. “So this is a case where we have radical transparency. We’re actually willing to admit that we do make mistakes. Often, people are not willing to admit they make mistakes, but we are. And — but we want to emphasize we fix them quickly and we’re trying to do the right thing for the American taxpayer, for the American people,” Musk said.

“And I think history will be the judge that what we have done here and what we’re doing is a very good thing for the strength and future of America,” Musk concluded. X user Gina Milan commented on the video, saying, “Imagine this person has a once-in-a-lifetime chance to ask Elon Musk anything and tries to provoke him, but it backfires completely.”

“Well, Jessica didn’t look too thrilled with his answer, and as soon as he was off the segment, she continued to lie about what DOGE was doing. Typical liberal: if their lips are moving, they’re lying,” another person wrote. A third said, “She didn’t deserve the honor of speaking with or asking him a question. She’s just nasty.”
