Appearing on Fox News to talk to FNC host Jesse Watters about the long-standing disaster in San Francisco and how it has turned the city into an unliveable cesspool, Katie Daviscourt of The Post Millennial pointed out that the situation has now gotten so terrible that Elon is saying his Twitter employees don’t feel safe in the city.
Beginning, Daviscourt noted that retailers are facing a huge crime problem and the situation on the streets is about as bad as can be imagined, saying, “You see the mass exodus of businesses now these are huge retailers being absolutely ransacked daily by thieves, open air drug use, homeless vagrants attacking the people working at these businesses who have had to pull out.”
An example of the retail situation in San Francisco comes from Nordstrom, which decided that it needed to pull out of the city because of the constant crime and theft in its stores.
Continuing, Daviscourt noted that Elon has been one of the loudest voices in the chorus of voices calling for San Francisco to wake up to what’s going on, as his employees at Twitter no longer feel safe living in the crime-ridden city. Making that point, Daviscourt said, “and you have Elon Musk, who has been a critical voice in fighting back against these policies, saying on Twitter that his employees no longer feel safe in the city.”
Daviscourt then made her most shocking point, which is that a recent immigrant whose business was ransacked said that the city is now worse than the country from which he fled, Afghanistan. “But what is most striking to me was recently, a Muslim immigrant from Afghanistan, whose business was ransacked. He said that San Francisco is now worse than Iraq and Afghanistan,” Daviscourt said.
Watch her describe the sad state of San Francisco here:

Zaid, the store owner from Afghanistan whose business was ransacked by vagrants, told Fox News Digital, “The politicians need to get a grip on this because It’s worse than Afghanistan or Iraq.” Continuing, he said that at least the Taliban is willing to deal with criminals, saying, “At least in Afghanistan the Taliban will cut your hand off and people are afraid to commit such a crime.”
He then noted that, in San Francisco, “[The criminals] know the police won’t do anything,” and so they feel free to run about robbing businesses without fear of reprisal. “We have drugs issue, we have homeless issue, and on top of this these idiots come in here and take whatever they want,” Zaid said.
He next noted that things have never been worse in San Francisco, saying, “The city has gone downhill, especially the last 2 years since COVID, I’ve never seen it worse. People are afraid to come shopping here because they are either going to get robbed or someone will break into their car.”
Finally, he added that he and his family might just leave given how bad things have gotten, saying, “We might have to shut it down. Our safety is more important than making a living in this city.”
