Not long after the confirmation hearing for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to head up the Department of Health and Human Services led to a fiery confrontation with Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), the latter has found herself under heavy scrutiny and criticism for doubling down on lies that she has been caught in when it comes to accepting money from pharmaceutical companies.
Kennedy has consistently been opposed to major pharmaceutical companies pushing a lengthy list of vaccines and other medical products on the American people, an unpopular stance that put him in the crosshairs of a number of Democrats, including Warren. The Massachusetts Democrat expressed worry that Kennedy’s opposition would lead to the bankruptcy of vaccine manufacturers.
During the hearing, Kennedy outed her deep monetary connections to Big Pharma companies after she tried to get him to say he would not go after them as an attorney after his service at HHS was up. His refusal to do so led to a major meltdown on her part. Why is she so concerned about what happens to these companies? They pay her a lot of money.
Warren has been on defense ever since the hearing. In a clip posted by The Daily Caller, the senator can be seen denying that she’s ever taken contributions from Big Pharma executives, despite all of the evidence to the contrary, as she’s being chased down by a reporter. “Check my website. I don’t take contributions from Big Pharma executives. I don’t take any corporate PAC money,” she said, according to a report from The Western Journal.
This, of course, is a flat-out lie. The report reveals that Warren took $822,573 between 2019 and 2020 from several employees or political action committees (PACs) that were affiliated with pharmaceutical and health product companies, though these donations were not made by the companies themselves. In fact, she took so much money from Big Pharma folks that she came in second just behind Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) who took $1,417,663.
Sanders also got locked into a heated conversation with Kennedy during the confirmation hearing. Sanders attempted to defend his taking money from Big Pharma by saying the cash did not come from “the executives” of these companies, but from their “workers.” Warren is employing a similar strategy to try and offset the scrutiny she’s under.
Many individuals weighed in on Warren’s denial of plain facts, with one person commenting on X, “As usual Warren is lying through her teeth.” Another individual said, “They didn’t even legally win their elections. These people have no business being in DC representing anyone, let alone millions. It’s starting to look like at least the 119th HOR—and possibly many before —have been full of illegitimate representatives who didn’t legally win their seats. No wonder they don’t represent the people.”

“What Lizzy never mentions is her daughter’s connections to healthcare insurance industry. Her daughter Amelia Warren Tyagi owned outright Health-Allies Inc. then sold it to the United Health Group. She now is a consultant for McKinsey & Company another healthcare insurance industry company. Why doesn’t she ever mention this?” Another individual commented.
