Bettina Anderson, his newly minted finace, reacted, “Wow, what a privilege it is to be here in the White House. Mr. President, thank you so much for hosting this incredible party. And to our First Lady. These decorations, am I right? Are they unbelievable?

In the comments under this post, users flooded in to congratulate Donald Trump Jr. A commentator noticed, “So sweet! You could tell Jr was emotional because he was sniffing (like, a lot!) and looked like he’d been crying.”
Addressing snide comments from liberals, another noted, “reminder that Biden’s granddaughter got married on the white house lawn (nobody cares, it’s like so irrelevant I can’t believe I’m replying) but let’s lose our minds over someone announcing their engagement in the white house… where his family resides…”
Even some liberal were annoyed by the snark. “By no means am I for this administration, but who cares? So what if they announced it at the White House. Calling out everything as some horrible act is why people don’t listen when there is a horrible act… IMHO,” a user noted.
