WATCH: Democrat Senator Runs Away When Confronted Over His SAVE America Act Hypocrisy

A video clip of a reporter confronting Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-GA) over the hypocrisy of requiring photo ID in order to attend one of his political rallies, but being against voter ID laws that would protect the integrity of American elections, is going viral on social media for a second time as the fight to pass the SAVE America Act continues.

In the video, the reporter is following Ossoff through the halls of Congress, asking him, “Also, why did you call an ID bill unworkable? Doesn’t your rally require IDs, and why are you against efforts to secure elections? Senator Ossoff, why did you call a voter ID totally unworkable? Don’t you require IDs for your rallies? Why are you opposed to efforts to secure elections?”

Ossoff’s response? He ignored the question entirely and just kept right on walking. And this reporter isn’t the only person to call the Georgia Democrat out for his hypocrisy. A number of Republicans have as well. In fact, a political attack ad from the GOP rips into Ossoff for his double standard in an attempt to hold him accountable.

“Want to get into a Jon Ossoff rally?” the advertisement’s narrator says at the beginning, before the ad goes into a montage of staffers at Ossoff’s rally held in February 2026 asking for entrants’ IDs. According to a report from Fox News, rally staff members can be heard saying, “Don’t forget your ID” as people walked into the Georgia International Convention Center in Atlanta.

Another staffer is heard asking those coming into the event, “Also, do you have your ID with you?” Someone else in the video is heard saying, “I’ll just grab your ID from you. Thank you so much.” Yet another said, “Please have your IDs ready, please, thank you.” And yet Ossoff himself has referred to attempts to create stricter photo ID laws for voting and voter registration as “nakedly partisan, totally unworkable, [and] bad faith.”

Ossoff has been extremely vocal about his opposition to the SAVE America Act, a piece of legislation that is designed to protect against election fraud by requiring those registering to vote to provide proof of their citizenship. This can be done by providing a birth certificate or valid U.S. passport. The bill also requires anyone registered to show photo ID before they can cast ballots in federal elections.

The comment section on the video clip was full of folks calling Ossoff out for his hypocrisy and for allowing illegal aliens to flood into Georgia. “He sucks. I’m from GA and there’s so many illegals running around Atlanta. ICE should be surging there but GA has a RINO governor,” one user said. “IDs for rallies = security. IDs for voting = oppression?” another commented.

“Classic Democrat double standard. They scream about fairness but dodge accountability when called out. America sees it Senator Stop running and start explaining your hypocrisy,” someone else wrote. “Dems are dipshits, like BIGLY,” another joked. “Hypocrisy alert: Democrats preach one thing, do another,” one user said.
