WATCH: Democrat Mayor Gets in City Council Brawl during Routine Meeting, Loses Her Wig in the Scuffle

A town board meeting in Dolton, Illinois, quickly descended into chaos when Mayor Tiffany Henyard became involved in a brawl involving her boyfriend and an opposing political activist.  What started as an ordinary gathering of constituents between their leadership devolved into a scene featuring profane insults and physical altercation, even knocking Henyard’s wig off at one point.

As background, Henyard has been dubbed “America’s worst mayor” after her involvement in numerous controversies, including allegations of financial mismanagement, fraud, and corruption.  The brawl started with activist Jedidiah Brown hurling an insult toward Henyard.  Brown said he would “use every bit of my research and skill to scoop up every receipt I may have missed on them all.”  The activist concluded his commentary, proclaiming, “You gone, b*tch!”

This provoked a clash between Brown and Henyard’s boyfriend, Kamal Woods. At one point, Henyard decided to involve herself in the fight, jumping into the center of the conflict.  The embattled mayor’s wig was then ripped off of her head and was seen flying across the room.  The violence was quickly broken up with authorities and onlookers pulling people away from the fighting.

The incident has sparked a massive response on social media, with commentators weighing in on the situation in Dolton. One person reported about the incident on X, writing, “Tiffany Heynard, the mayor of Dolton village in Illinois and supervisor of nearby Thornton Township, joined a chaotic brawl that erupted at a town meeting after an activist called for her removal Tuesday night.”

The post continued, “Fight began when Jedidiah Brown, a frequent critic of Henyard, took to the podium and criticized the mayor, accused of her of ‘sleeping her way to the top,… a ‘half-a**ed mayor’, that ended with him calling her a ‘b*tch’. Latest scandal for Heynard, including how she allegedly mismanaged millions of dollars worth of taxpayer funds.”

Similarly, commentator Dom Lucre, known as the “Breaker of Narratives,” reacted to a clip of the incident, writing, “Tiffany Henyard, the woman titled ‘America’s worst mayor’, and her boyfriend got into a fight at a township meeting. Mayor Henyard’s wig was seen flying across the room. A speaker ended with “You gone, b*tch!”

Following the fight, Brown uploaded a clip sharing his side of the story. “I need y’all to understand this. Everybody who making all these comments Tiffany Henyard has was sitting there disrespectful to everybody in that room for about two whole hours. You all have people looking at a sound bite on the news of my comments and then a fight, but it doesn’t speak to what I was responding to,” he said.

Defending his conduct, he added, “And I also want to put this on the record they actually historically called me a bitch first. We basically greet each other with that word. Now, and each one of them have called me a bitch. Tiffany has called me a bitch. Craig Lee has called me a bitch. Kamal has called me a bitch. But now y’all want to be so up in arms because of a sound bite.”
