In yet another infuriating case of Congressional hypocrisy and poor behavior emanating from the ridiculous ranks of the Democratic Party, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) was spotted, and indeed caught on tape, skipping the security line at the airport by using a special TSA airport escort despite having been one of those who has voted against a funding package for DHS that would fully fund TSA salaries.
As background, the Democrats and RINOs kept Transportation Security Agency (TSA) agents unpaid for over a month, along with second-line Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) personnel and other Department of Homeland Security staff, by refusing to pass a DHS funding bill out of their desire to shut down ICE.
While it was primarily Democrats in the Senate who were able to obstruct the bill, due to Speaker of the House Mike Johnson doing a much better job than Senate Majority Leader John Thune at pushing through a satisfactory bill, Democrats in the House, like Rep. Wasserman Schultz, have been similarly difficult and have tried to hold up the bill.
So, it was particularly infuriating to see her exercising one of the perks of being in Congress and skipping the security line at the airport by relying on a special escort from TSA to guide her through the security lines and let her skip them, with the lines being particularly long right now because of the DHS shutdown that Democrats like her have inflicted on the country.
Predictably, the incident quickly took off online, with many commenters pointing out the utter hypocrisy of a congresswoman whose votes and whose party have been obstinately opposed to giving TSA agents the paychecks they need and deserve then relying on such an agent to skip the lines that they created.
One such post on the matter included the video of the incident, saying, “I hope everyone in lines today see this! Democrat Debbie Wasserman Schultz was caught using a TSA escort to bypass the lines that she and her party created at the airport.”
Similarly, another post on the matter said, “Debbie Wasserman Schultz gets caught using a special TSA escort to bypass long airport lines. Meanwhile, everyone else waits.” Quote tweeting that post, another poster said, “Says everything, doesn’t it?” Indeed, it does.

Even a fellow congresswoman chimed in. Rep. Ashley Hinson (R-IA), for example, said, “Neither Republicans or Democrats should be skipping the line while constituents are facing 4+ hour waits across the country. I am working with Senator @JohnCornyn to put a long-overdue end to perks at airports for members of Congress. It’s absolutely critical that Democrats fund TSA and end this madness ASAP.”
That came in response to a post saying, “Nancy Mace and Debbie Wasserman Schultz getting escorted through TSA … … bypassing the lines the rest of us are stuck in. No wonder Americans are fed up with Congress. Just because you can skip the line doesn’t mean you should.”
