WATCH: Dem Rep Caught Making “Career-Ending” Comment Live on Camera, Now Faces Major Scandal

A Vermont Democrat, Rep. Becca Balint, embarrassed herself at a town hall in Newport with her racist comments. Balint stated that we need immigrants for “wiping our a–es” prompting a massive backlash for her crude language from Vermont GOP Chairman Paul Dame and the other prominent figures.

For context, in response to Trump’s brave stance on immigration, many Democrats, along with their allies in the mainstream media, have been driven completely insane. To oppose the president, many liberals have resorted to violent protests or embarrassing public meltdowns.

Such was shown when Becca Balint, the Vermont Democrat, made her opinions known at a May 28, 2025, town hall. She said, “Our economy is completely bound up in immigration and migrant labor. We have to come to a place in Congress where it is no longer a political issue, but we see it as an existential issue for the country.”

Continuing her objectionable remarks, Balint said, “If we don’t have avenues for people to come here legally to work or to build a home here, I’m going to be really crude right now — we’re not going to have anybody around to wipe our a–es because we don’t have enough people in our country now to fill the jobs that we have.” Ironically, she noted, “We also want to make sure that we have an adult conversation in Congress.”

Reacting to her unprecedented bigotry, Chairman of the Vermont Republican Party, Paul Dame, demanded an apology. He said, “Congresswoman Balint should apologize — not only for her crude choice of words, but more importantly for the disturbing sentiment that the primary purpose of immigration is to perform labor that she deems beneath the dignity of others.”

Continuing his epic rebuke, Dame added, “At the heart of these remarks is an opinion so offensive and so profoundly out of touch that it reveals a fundamental lack of respect for those who come to this country — abiding by the rules — in pursuit of freedom, opportunity, and a better life.”

Concluding his demolition of the Democratic representative, he declared, “The way Congresswoman Balint reduced Vermont’s hard-working legal immigrants to little more than ‘a– wipers’ is embarrassing. She owes them — and all Vermonters — an apology for such a shameful characterization.”

Adding to the uproar, the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) stated, “While complaining about President Trump deporting illegal immigrants, Vermont Democrat Becca Balint claims: ‘We’re not going to have anyone around to wipe our a–es.’ Democrats’ goal is, was and always will be open borders.”

Reacting to the clip, which went viral on social media, conservatives blasted the out-of-touch Democrat. One user said, “Shes and idiot. We do have avenues for immigration. That’s the point, do it legally or don’t do it. We need to vet to keep our citizens safe.” Building on this point, another said, Here’s an idea. Stop overspending on Marxist garbage so property taxes can come down. Then younger middle class folks could afford to live here providing services to maintain the second homes of old liberals. They’re too dumb to wipe their own ass never mind replace a roof…”
