In an absolutely awesome moment that came when he appeared for the 126th annual Army-Navy football game on Saturday, December 13, President Donald J. Trump received a huge, roaring cacophony of cheering and applause from the massive crowd when he participated in the pre-game coin toss.
For reference, the president has made it a habit to attend all the Army-Navy games that he can since he was first elected in 2016, joining that one as the president-elect and then attending every game played while he has been in office or president-elect, other than the 2017 matchup. So, his appearance at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland, but still quite awesome and exciting.
In any case, the president appeared for the game ahead of time, showing up in a motorcade at around 2:30 pm for the pre-game activities. After arriving, he made a dramatic and wonderful entrance onto the field, and was met with a thunderous burst of applause upon being announced as the Commander-in-Chief.
In fact, the more than 70,000-person-strong fan base thundered with chants of “USA! USA!” as he walked out on the field, with much of the collection of fans, cadets, and active service members joining in the raucous applause and cheering for the president as he walked out onto the field and was introduced.
Even more exciting was the game’s coin toss. After walking onto the field, the president participated int he pre-game coin toss, shaking hands with the captains of both teams and then being introduced by the referees, at which point the crowd again exploded into roaring cheers, applause, and obligatory chanting of “USA! USA!” As the crowd cheered, an official said, “It is my honor and privilege to introduce the Commander-in-Chief, our President of the United States of America, Donald J. Trump.”
Describing the incredible scene in a post on X, the Johnny MAGA X account, a conservative news-focused X account, said, “Absolute scenes in Baltimore as Trump joins the coin toss at the Army Navy game — something Joe Biden never once did as President. We have a real commander-in-Chief again. 🇺🇸”

Posting about the game on Truth Social shortly before arriving at the stadium, the president made a funny joke about which team he was going to support, saying, “Getting ready to land at Fort McHenry for my short drive to the Army-Navy Game. Everyone is asking who am I supporting, Army or Navy? My answer is: ‘You must be joking if you think I’m going to give you that answer!’ PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP”
Posting about the game in 2023, he skewered the Biden Administration for letting so many migrants into the country, saying, “Nobody is able to get Rooms for the Army-Navy Game in Foxborough, Massachusetts, because all of the Rooms are occupied by Migrants Illegally in our Country. This is an All Time Classic—Only in Biden’s America!”
