Totally making a fool of herself yet again, Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) gave a ridiculous speech about her senate candidacy in which she attempted to fake tears to underline her point, but flubbed it and ended up just looking ridiculous. In her comments, she claimed she “never intended” to run but felt compelled by poll trends showing strong support in both primary and general elections.
Continuing her absurd allegations, she insisted the current moment is “life or death,” “all or nothing,” and a crossroads to protect progress on Social Security, Medicare, voting rights, and personal freedoms from being “wiped away.”
Starting her absurd comments, Crockett said, “I’ll hit the ground running, because I’m already in the belly of the beast right now, many people wonder why I jumped in this race so late, and I just want to be clear that this was never my intention. This was never about me. I never put myself into any of the polls.”
“Listen, my question was, which congressional seat would I be running for, and for Texas 30, I love…
I love you. Texas 30,” she choked out as she began her crocodile tears, “Okay, am I finished. But the more I saw the poll results, I couldn’t ignore the trends, which were clear, both as it relates to the primary as well as the general election.”
Still not done, the inarticulate and irritating Democrat whined, “I could have played it safe and continued serving in the United States House of Representatives for as long as my constituents would have me. But I don’t choose to do that, because Texas, this moment we’re in now, is life or death.”
Doubling down on her absurd comments, Crockett raved, “It’s all or nothing. It’s now or never; we find ourselves at a crossroads. We’re faced with a hard choice to make people believe we’ve got to make sure that they understand that we are not to go back.”
Finally wrapping up her remarks, she said, “We are not to allow our hard-earned progress of our foremothers to be wiped away. We lose Social Security and Medicare. We lose the right to vote, to love, and to live freely. That’s one path where we go back in time.”

Reacting to the clip, one conservative noted, “LMFAO CROCKETT JUST TRIED TO FAKE CRY AND COMPLETELY BUMBLED IT. She’s going to GO OFF on her staffers tonight, pray for them,” referencing long-term rumors about how poorly she treats her employees.
Watch the clip here:
“Texas & SCOTUS literally took away her House seat. Watching her stumble-cry for a Senate Seat, when even much more popular & much more articulate (albeit, still an idyut) Beto couldn’t win here, will have her bring joy to her state, finally,” another user joked.
Making a similar point, another added, “This kinda reminds me of some of OBiden’s speeches. Only he would have said fake cry pause. 🤣” Likewise, one user quipped, “They may have started off with good intentions, but once ghetto trash gets a taste of the good life they just become addicted to it, assume the position and it’s grift on! They don’t give a shit about anything except themselves.”
