WATCH: Crazy Video Shows Amusement Ride in Saudi Arabia Snapping in Half as Park-Goers Ride It

In a horrifying video that went massively viral on social media, an amusement park ride in Taif, Saudi Arabia, collapsed on July 30, 2025, injuring at least 23 people, leaving three victims in critical condition. The dramatic footage shows the ride snapping while onlookers scream in terror.

For context, Taif Governor Prince Saud bin Nahar bin Saud bin Abdulaziz ordered the closure of the park and an immediate investigation into the disaster, and preliminary findings are expected soon. Some of the victims were treated on site, but others, especially those critically injured, were hospitalized

In an official statement, Prince Saud bin Nahar bin Saud bin Abdulaziz noted that “Several injuries occurred; some were treated at the site, while others were transferred to hospital care,” adding that no fatalities were recorded and that he would be overseeing a detailed investigation.

As we reported, Qatar, Saudi Arabia’s neighbor, has been in the headlines recently, although for happier reasons than this tragic accident. In another viral video, Qatari fighter jets escorted Air Force One as President Donald Trump flew in for a historic diplomatic meeting with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. However, dishonest leftists have tried to paint the trip as an attempt by President Trump to enrich himself, prompting White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt to debunk these “frankly ridiculous” claims.

Posting a clip of the iconic moment, White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino took to X on May 14, 2025. His first post said, “A view from above as F-15QA Multirole Strike Fighters of the Qatar Emiri Air Force (QEAF) escort Air Force One into Qatar🇺🇸🇶🇦”

In a subsequent post, he stated, “Happening Now—President Trump is looking out the window on Air Force One as we enter Qatar air space with a fighter jet escort. Landing shortly at Hamad International Airport in Qatar.Thank you!🇺🇸🇶🇦”

Reacting to tasteless criticism from leftist media, Karoline Leavitt did a commendable job protecting Trump from a savage media smear campaign. She clarified that the primary goal of the trip was “to emphasize [President Trump’s] vision for a proud, prosperous, and successful Middle East, where the United States and Middle Eastern nations are in cooperative relationships, and where extremism is defeated in place of commerce and cultural exchanges.”

Adding more context, she explained, “This trip ultimately highlights how we stand on the brink of the golden age for both America and the Middle East — united by a shared vision of stability, opportunity, and mutual respect.”

Watch the clip of the fighter jet escort here:

Firing back after a reporter dishonestly asked whether President Trump’s visit had anything to do with his enrichment, the press secretary replied, “Not to my knowledge, and let me just get to the premise of your question that both of you have raised. I think it’s frankly ridiculous that anyone in this room would even suggest that President Trump is doing anything for his own benefit.”
